📋 Booking Requirements
This home follows local compliance guidelines, which include:
• Signed rental agreement
• ID verification
• $1,250 security hold (pending authorization, not a traditional deposit)
As an alternative, guests may purchase a non-refundable damage waiver ($65 for stays up to 10 nights + $5 per night after 10 nights).

It provides easy document signing and a private guest portal with property details and local recommendations to make your stay seamless.

House Rules:
+Failure to provide a signed rental agreement will immediately cancel the reservation without a refund if not received +24 hours before arrival.

+Please return yard games and water toys to the basement closet, once dried.
+Tapering, unplugging or covering, with Ring Cameras (located at the front door, balcony, and sliding glass door) is grounds for immediate reservation cancellation without refund. The security cameras are there for the safety of YOU & our home.
+No tapering/unplugging of the Wifi lock (plug-in) or router, that is grounds for immediate reservation cancellation without refund.
+Check-in is at 4:00 pm prompt unless discussed before. The smart lock is set for strictly 4:00 pm check-in, it will not allow you to access the home even 1 minute before.
+Check-out is at 10:00 am.
+Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. While we have designated quiet hours, it's important to note that this doesn't confine you indoors. Rather, it's a gentle reminder to maintain respectful voices and consideration for those around us.

This was an amazing, beautiful space! It was so welcoming and warm and provided entertainment for adults and kids alike. The fireplace and hot tub critical as we were in -20 degree weather. The house was furnished with absolutely everything we needed. Evan was promptly responsive to the couple questions we had and and VERY gracious in allowing us to stay warm in the house after check-out when the truck battery died (thanks again Evan!) Amazing space. Amazing hosts. We intend to be back!

Border Point Lodge was the perfect fall (MEA break) getaway for our family of four (2 boys ages 2.5 & 7) another couple (55ish). Owners were super communicative but also “chill” if that makes sense. The pics online are exactly what you pull up to! Bistro string lights welcome you to a cozy main living space. I appreciated that there weren’t fragrance plug ins or heavily fragranced cleaning supplies used either! The online check-in portal was useful and informative. You tube video links to operating thermostats and fireplaces came in handy! Beds were crisp and cozy! We took advantage of a mini crib for our small human which was nice! Kitchen has everything, EVERYTHING!!!! Including an air-fryer, which, with kids was amazing! Kids plates and cups too so we only had to haul a bib.Outdoor activities were a plenty, kayaking, great fireplace with the best swivel/glide chairs, sauna lake plunges and the hot tub. Everything worked perfectly and was easily accessed.We were able to do a few loads of laundry before departing which made unloading back home even lighter.This place is amazing - the owners CARE and it shows. We had a blast! Don’t hesitate to book.

Amazing stay at an amazing property

Cannot say enough good things about our stay at Border Point Lodge! Evan & Annie are amazing hosts, taking time to answer all our questions, so kind & accommodating. The property is absolutely beautiful! So clean, warm & welcoming! So many fun things to do inside & out & in a beautiful location. This was the perfect place for our last minute family get away. Fantastic fall getaway!

We just wrapped up a 10-day stay at this lovely, well-appointed lakeside getaway and can't wait to come back! From the beautiful setting to the personal touches, it is everything and more than the pictures convey. If you can imagine it, the hosts have already provided it, and if not, they are quick to meet your needs. We rarely get vacation time in the fall, and so the opportunity to enjoy the changing leaves and morning coffee by the fireplace while watching the swans come and go on the lake was magical. Definitely one of the most relaxing vacation spots we've stayed. So looking forward to coming back next year!

Amazing place

This place was so perfect for our family of 5. It was spring break for our daughters so it was so nice to go somewhere so relaxing, fun and beautiful. The home was clean and nicely set up. It had everything we needed. We also loved all the things they had there (snacks, speaker, baby chair, etc.) We accidentally used too many appliances at once while cooking so the electricity went out in the kitchen but we contacted the host and it was taken care of super fast. Being on the dock was just so fun and such nice views in the morning and at night. We got to bonfire and we also caught some pretty big fishes too! We also checked out the ice cream shop nearby that was recommended and it was so yummy. Overall, it was an awesome stay and we would definitely love to come back! Thank you! - The Xiong Family

Amazing getaway!

Staying at Border Point Lodge was everything you see on the listing, but even better in-person! Communication with the owners was GREAT! The home is GORGEOUS, with every amenity you could want! The lake was truly quiet and beautiful - we enjoyed otters, loons, kayaks, swimming, and the peacefulness of it all! We quickly felt right at home and want to go again! You won't regret booking here!

Perfect Getaway!

Peaceful Retreat

What a relaxing and peaceful retreat! The property was simply amazing! The property is very clean and very well maintained! The house offers all the comforts of home with plenty of space for our family! We enjoyed daily swims and kayaking and nightly fires while listening to the loons on the lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the s’mores kit that was awaiting us as a gift! The lake was very quiet and peaceful…a perfect getaway “up north”! Evan was amazing to deal with and very prompt with communication! Best VRBO we’ve rented this far!!

Terrific cabin with peace and privacy

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The surroundings were so peaceful and private. What a great place to recharge. The owners were great with communications prior to and during our stay. Stunningly beautiful

What a beautiful property! From the tree lined driveway to the calm waters of Fawn Lake you will not be disappointed in staying here! Upon arrival we were surprised with a welcome bag of smores goodies to celebrate my big 5-0! The owners, Evan and Annie, were in touch to make sure arrival was seamless and that every comfort was available and working properly. Evan and Annie were prompt and warm with their response. It felt like we were staying at a friend's cabin! The lake was inviting and after a refreshing tip into the lake, found it clean and clear. Lots of wonderful memories were made with friends in and on the lake as well as around the campfire. And I would be remiss to not mention the amazing kitchen! Ithaca everything you need and things you didn't even know you needed!! Everything is labeled and so clean!! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Evan and Annie for sharing your beautiful home.

Beautiful Lake Cabin

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! It was secluded and on a private lake. It was very quiet and kids enjoyed the small beach and jumping off the dock. The lake was calm and allowed for our 8 year old to try out some stand up paddle boarding! The kids enjoyed the great selection of movies in the evenings while the adult were able to stay up and play late night games. Evan and Annie were fabulous hosts! Thank you for a fabulous summer family trip!!!

Our short vacation stay on Fawn Lake

We loved our stayed at Borderpoint Lodge on Fawn Lake. Everything was clean, bright and beautiful! The entire house was well stocked with everything we would ever need even things we forgot we needed. Our kids loved renting the pontoon which was super convenient. The only problem was the AC not working entirely which was out of the owners control and they were awesome about making us aware of the situation. We decided to go ahead with our stay and they accommodated us with extra fans. We absolutely loved our stay and wished we would have booked for longer!!! Amazing property and hosts!

Winter Getaway

This is a great cabin for a winter trip. The cabin is perfect with a nice lake view and the hosts were great. Our family of 5 loved the movie selection, cozy reading spots and the game table in the loft. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
