Refreshed 2 Bedroom on the Shuttle Loop!

Chadlington House condos feature a quiet location in both summer and winter, situated on the shuttle route to the ski area on Mount Crested Butte. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo located on the second floor tucked in the northern part of the complex. The condo offers 2 permitted vehicles for parking. Entering the open living space, you'll be welcomed with plenty of room for entertaining. There is a dining area with seating for six, a top-of-line kitchen with a chef's inventory, and a cozy living room for unwinding. The couch doubles as additional sleeping with a queen sofa bed and an extended table top if you need to squeeze in some work between play.

There is a queen room and full bathroom located off of the living room. The bathroom has been upgraded to offer a spa-like experience with its' custom tile work and state-of-art shower head for the ultimate relaxation. Heading to the second floor you'll find an extra TV den for hanging out or storing gear during your stay. The primary bedroom also located on this floor, is spacious and inviting with a plush queen bed for resting. You'll also find convenience with a full washer/dryer tucked away in the nook of the bedroom. The primary bathroom competes again with another spa experience offering similar custom tile work and also a state-of-art shower fixture.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Chadlington House condos are located just down the road from the summer town route schedule which is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes. In the winter, the condos are on a special condo loop shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes and brings you to the base area. Just walk to the end of the driveway and a friendly bus driver will deliver you to the resort base area for a full day of fun!

Kitchen was stacked with all accessories and utensils you could ask for. Bathrooms were very nice and water pressure excellent. Beds were comfortable. The only main issue is the kitchen table and kitchen chairs. Chairs were very uncomfortable and kitchen table was picnic table without smooth surfaces which made playing games difficult. Refrigerator water filter needs to be replaced. But overall no major complaints.

Short spring break

We loved the location and cleanliness of the property. The kitchen was well stocked. The shower is amazing!!! However, the beds are unbearably uncomfortable. The mattress itself was as hard as a brick with no give at all. The linens on the bed were def the worst I have ever felt. So while the condo itself is great, do not expect to get a good nights sleep when you stay here.

Unit in-line with the price.

Pictures look great, and generally the remodel on this older unit works well. But I'd say the dining chairs MUST be replaced. The covers were clean but the seats themselves were caved-in. Beds were fine, bathroom remodels were very nice, kitchen stocking was very good, TV was modern. One downside on this location is that it is located directly uphill from Mt CB's sewage treatment plant. Occasionally the smell was noticeable, but tolerable. Views from the small front porch were good.

Small condo in nice quiet location

Living area kind of small, but bathrooms are remodeled. Nice location near ski shuttle stop. Wifi did not work for first day. Called around 6 pm, but was not restored until noon the next day. One of the bathroom exhausts was very loud - repaired at same time as wifi. Great views from every window.

They sink noticeably when sitting, and some had coils hanging out from underneath. Replacing them would make a big difference.Appliance Heat Issue: The dryer significantly heats the upstairs room while in use, which made it uncomfortable at times.

Check in process left a lot to be desired. We never received instructions on checking in so called a little after 5:00pm when we arrived in a snowstorm. No one at the number provided could help us and we were advised to call Vrbo. After many calls back and forth, and a cold hour and a half later we finally received check in instructions. Upon arrival the wifi information that was provided didn’t work and our phone signals were very weak. Finally got correct information for that the next day. The unit was extremely clean but there was a chemically smell that never went away.

The unit is pretty small and compact and is up on the second floor so a tad difficult for loading/unloading. I wish this was clearer in the property description. Biggest complaint is that the furniture is pretty uncomfortable, especially the beds. Nice upgrades were put into the bathrooms and kitchen, but wish the furniture would be upgraded accordingly as well. Both couples complained about the beds and had trouble sleeping comfortably. Still a great location and right on the shuttle route, so would probably still recommend this unit as long as you go in with realistic expectations.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very old condominium complex. Would not recommend. There were what looked like abandoned vehicles in the parking area. There was no soap in the unit. When we messaged the management company, they claimed that they do not provide hand soap for their guests. The shampoo and conditioner were different brands. It seemed like they had just compiled samples from other properties and thrown them in there. All of the cleaning supplies were underneath he sinks in the bathrooms and there was a foul odor coming from the dishwasher. The management company did bring us a box of dishwashing detergent, but it hardly helped. The condo was updated vis-a-vis the other condos in the complex, but I would never stay there again.
