A Hop, Skip & Jump Onto The Beach

This charming 2 bedroom cottage, located at the eastern end of the village, awaits your visit to Crescent Head.
Bursting with character, this beach shack offers easy access to Crescent's main attractions such as the beach, golf course, main street, tavern, and country club. This older style beach shack provides a spacious living area with a picturesque view of the golf course and the sea. Almare is the perfect choice for your group or family, offering great value and a traditional Aussie beach house holiday experience. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, oven, fridge, and ample cupboard space, ensuring you have everything you need for a cozy night in.

In terms of bedding configuration, Almare comfortably accommodates 6 people with 2 double beds and 2 single beds.
Additionally, there is a 3rd bedroom/sleeping nook at the end of the large L-shaped living area.

For your convenience during your relaxed holiday, the home is equipped with a washing machine, LCD TV, DVD player, garage, parking, laundry facilities, and an enclosed yard. Only 150 meters away from the beach and close to town, you can park your car and easily explore this beautiful coastal town.

So why wait? Almare has all the essentials for your next vacation. Sit on the steps at the back shed and enjoy watching the rolling swell, take a leisurely stroll across the golf course to reach the break, then return for a refreshing hot shower before heading to the tavern or country club to indulge in a delicious selection of food and beers on tap.

Please note that personal linen, including sheets, towels, and pillowcases, is not provided. Guests are required to bring their own. However, if you prefer, you can hire linen at an additional cost through the Elders office.

Although, it does lack basic necessities such as cling wrap, foil & paper towel. We had a black out while we were there & there was no candles nor torches which was tricky. Everything is super dated which is fine but I wouldn’t pay any more for the property. Overall, we love coming to Almare & will continue the tradition of spending summer there.

Reviewer Comments: This house has a lot of character and the old rooms a lovely feel. The biggest thing it lacks is a nice place to sit outside. Very close to beach, cafes and lookout. Not much view from house. Could really do with a furniture and decor upgrade. Get rid of the chip board Ikea **** and replace it with old things, thought and love. But I get the feeling the owner doesn't really care about guests experience just making a buck and from the surveyors marks the house might be due for demolition and replaced with apartments blocks like it's surrounds. Sad! Mice and cockroaches but that's part of the charm. Great spot if you can't spend all day in the surf. Unfortunately we rainy cool whether.

Cute cottage/beach shack

We had a wonderful long weekend away with our kids. The place is neat and tidy, has character. Beds, linen and dining room table have been updated since the photos. Could do with a fan in the bedroom but sea breezes were good. Close to shops/cafe and easy walk to the beach with kids.
