Nice studio right by the ocean

This cheery and cozy studio, with a beautiful flower garden, hot tub, and a peak-a-boo view of the ocean and Battery Point Lighthouse is a perfect get away spot. You can fall asleep to the sound of waves on the nearby shore. Ocean access is just a half block down the road. For one night or a full week this home has a great location with easy access to many wonderful amenities.

This is a no pet, no smoking home. Because of the close proximity of our neighbors we enforce a 10:00 PM quiet time. Additionally, please do not block the driveway as this is the only way of ingress and egress for our neighbors.

Great location, well stocked kitchen, right size for two. Wall heater is very load. Nice hot tub but no place to hang robes and towels. And out of the rain. Bathroom is dated.

The cottage was clean and cozy; perfect for celebrating our anniversary! Dave sent several emails ahead of our visit that made us feel welcome and made getting settled a breeze.We were impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was. Lots of pantry staples, coffee, and condiments. Loved the selection of books, games, and streaming access. Note for the tall and/or claustrophobic: the toilet is in a small space by itself, so maneuvering can be tricky (and entertaining ).Within walking distance of beach strolls, an historic landmark, and other local sites.Highly recommend this cottage for your visit to Crescent City!

This is a good sized studio (all one room) in a fantastic location. Pictures represent the cleanliness and decor. A very comfortable room for 2 people. Easy to find and quiet. We did not use the hot tub, but it's only a few steps away.

I hope you’re doing well. I recently stayed at your property, and I wanted to provide some feedback about my experience.Compliments:1.The location was great and provided easy access to the beach, local restaurants and the Battery Point Lighthouse.2.. The communication with the host before and during the stay was clear and helpful.Complaints/Suggestions:1.Hot Tub: Unfortunately, the hot tub had brown slime around the edges, which was concerning. I would suggest a more thorough cleaning or maintenance of this area before future guests use it.2.Shower: The shower had hair in it and was leaking, which was uncomfortable during my stay. It would be helpful to have this repaired and cleaned prior to guests arriving.Thank you for your attention to these matters. I hope this feedback helps in improving the experience for future guests. Peace and tranquility

Just as advertised this property is right on the water. Such a lovely place. Fresh flowers were picked and put on the table. Well stocked kitchen. Has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Very close to redwood Forest. We found a trail that followed the shore that was a treasure. Owners are very nice and responsive. Flower garden and hot tub are amazing. Washer and dryer came in handy on our trip. Highly recommended!!

Redwoods Holiday

We stayed at this great little spot and hiked the redwoods for two days. It was the perfect location for that and right by the sea for beautiful morning runs! We had everything we needed and Dave's communication was terrific - clear and timely. Would stay again!

Lovely cottage at Battery Point. Cozy studio with view of the lighthouse and marina in the distance. Beautiful garden! Enjoyed walking the path from the jetty to the marina. Everything you need in the kitchen. Dave was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Thank you!

Redwood Trip

Great town to visit the redwoods from - quaint but plenty of places to eat. Place was perfect size - could have morning coffee/breakfast for hitting the road. Visiting the lighthouse at low tide is a must do.

Night away.

It was a good stay for the night away. Sweet, simple and right on the beach. Wish check in was earlier and hot tub was a little more closed in but other than that it was great stay.
