With accommodation for up to 14 guests in total, itâs the perfect destination for multi-generational family get-togethers, a relaxing break with friends, or a romantic coupleâs retreat.
The Stables, as the name suggests, is a lovingly converted stable building that has been tastefully restored to the highest standard. Combining rustic charm with contemporary design, it features slate flooring throughout the ground floor and offers a bright, spacious, open-plan living area. A cosy log burner and fully equipped modern kitchen make it a welcoming space to relax and enjoy home-cooked meals together.
This charming two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to four guests and is dog-friendly. Both bedrooms are beautifully designed and have their bathrooms for added comfort and privacy. A cot and highchair are available on request for families with young children.
To the front of the cottage, a sun terrace provides the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and scenic countryside views. Guests also have access to a shared games building, complete with table tennis and table football â perfect for a bit of fun after a day of exploring.
Our location is ideal for discovering all that Devon has to offer. The historic Cathedral City of Exeter is just a short drive away, while the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor, and the stunning beaches of North Devon and Cornwall, are all within easy reach. For those seeking adventure, we can help arrange a variety of activities, including horse riding, surfing lessons, and sculpture classes, to name just a few.
For a true taste of rural life, guests are invited to explore our 200-acre family-run grassland farm. We proudly raise award-winning Pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle and Poll Dorset sheep using environmentally friendly farming methods. Our rich wildflower meadows and rolling fields provide a haven for wildlife such as hares, deer, bees, and countless bird species.
Weâre always happy to share our passion for farming â whether itâs introducing you to our cows, sheep, and chickens, or giving you a glimpse into everyday life on the farm.
The Stables combines contemporary comfort with countryside charm, making it the ideal choice for small families, couples, or friends looking for a peaceful rural escape with stunning views over the farm and the rolling hills of Devon.

Start on the A377 heading towards Crediton from either Exeter or Barnstaple.If you're coming from Exeter, stay on the A377 heading north towards Crediton.Once in Crediton, follow the A377 until you reach the junction with the B3148 (just before leaving Crediton).Turn onto the B3148, heading towards Blackdog.Continue on this road for a short distance and look for signs for Billhole Farm or Billhole Lane.Turn onto Billhole Lane, and follow the road to the farm. The property should be signposted along the way.
