The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake Under 3 miles to UCONN!

UCONN parents take note; only 2.8 miles to the campus!

Spend some time at the newly renovated Bungalow, offering 2 queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa, state of the art kitchen and large open living area overlooking the lake. The Bungalow has a chef's dream of a kitchen, with it's soapstone countertop, generous spice selection, coffee bar, small appliance cabinet and griddle/gas range.

The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Bring a fishing pole and bait and reel in a large or small mouthed bass! (Fishing license required )

If fishing and kayaking are not your thing, we have tons of outdoor games. Cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball, just to name a few! In addition, there are miles of walking trails starting right down the road.

Coventry is known for its antique shops and restaurants. Once you've shopped 'til you've dropped, head back to The Bungalow to enjoy the firepit. Share a few stories and a few drinks. Once you are ready for bed, you will be sleeping on hotel quality beds and linens.

As someone who travels often, I have stayed in many temporary stay spots. I think to say that this one was the best would not be hyperbole. Lisa was awesome in communication and help throughout. I stayed for two weeks and didn’t want to leave. The Bungalow is such a beautiful, peaceful place with a breathtaking view of quaint Eagleville Lake. But what makes this place so special is that Lisa interior touch has literally thought of everything. And it is all presented in the house in the most tasteful ways. It is functionally perfect with an answer for everything I needed. But every nook and cranny is well designed and thought out. My only regret is that I couldn’t live here. Well done Lisa. Well done.

Lisa has a well kept property. Great stay for families or couples. Many amenities both large and small at this house that make it feel like a home away from home. Great fire pit area and relaxing view of the make. Plenty of lawn games, outdoor activities, as well as indoor games provided. I Would recommend staying at this property.

We had SO MUCH FUN at the Bungalow! Oh my GOSH, was it perfect! From the minute we got in, Lisa was the most gracious and patient host. The property is absolutely spectacular - the view is breathtaking. The house had everything we could possibly need - games for outside or inside, kayaks and paddleboards for the water, even mugs to take home to commemorate our time there. The kayaks were such a fun bonus, we made sure to use them every day!It was the perfect fit for our family of 5, with plenty of space and all the comforts we could ever want (try the s'mores station - you won't regret it!)!We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot to enjoy time with our kids! When we come back to visit our daughter at UCONN, we'll definitely stay at the Bungalow again! 10/10 highly recommend!

A super lovely stay

My family had a wonderful time here while in town for a family reunion weekend. The property and views were so stunning and peaceful. The home itself is well-designed and beautifully, intentionally decorated. Everything just flows. It was such a joy to walk out into the main area with the kitchen-dining-living room in the mornings with the light pouring in. The home was clearly conceived to be welcoming, comfortable, beautiful. Our host was so thoughtful, which I really appreciated since we were traveling with our toddler. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was so nice to be able to do a load of laundry! Can't say enough good things. And we didn't even get the chance to use the many amenities (next time). We hope to stay again.

Bungalow Stay

The hostess, Lisa thought of everything for a comfortable inviting stay. The house was lovely! It is clean and nicely furnished. Everything is labeled and orderly. Lisa also offered ideas for places to visit in the area that were of interest and she also answered any questions we had in a timely manor. The view of the lake was very peaceful. We saw the swan and train! I would highly recommend the Bungalow. Lisa is a great hostess!

I have had the privilege to be able to travel and stay at a lot of places. But this is absolutely by far one of my favorite places. The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake is about 3 minutes away from UCONN. The Bungalow was a small Lake Oasis. We enjoyed beautiful morning breakfasts on the patio outside and smores at night on the outdoor fireplace. The cleanliness was exemplary. The bedrooms had fresh linens and soft mattresses. All the amenities were of outstanding luxury - inner tubes, paddle boats and canoes. Finally, communication between Lisa and myself was flawless. Prompt messages always addressed immediately. Thank you so much Lisa. We look forward to our return trip.

Well appointed, modern and comfortable bungalow.

Lovely, open living area with a convenient kitchen, featuring modern appliances and everything needed. Easy access from parking area and plenty to entertain. There is a community lake access area to one side, but fairly quiet with little traffic. For us, the only downside was getting down to the lake as it is on a slight slope of grass and my husband is walking challenged. Overall a relaxing, peaceful stay.

This is our second time staying in this home. It’s nestled right on the lake and is perfect. It is stocked with everything you need, they did not skip a beat. Easy check in and check out process. Loved the gifts they left for us, always a nice touch.

Awesome Place tor a Cozy Home Away from Home!

We absolutely loved this home! We stayed there for a few days while visiting our daughter who is an athlete at UCONN! We hosted a team dinner for the girls and it was such a lovely time! Lisa had EVERYTHING we needed to be able to serve a huge make your own pasta dinner with apps and dessert. The kitchen is more well stocked than my own home with bowls, beautiful serving dishes and utensils. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The girls all said that they did not want to leave and wished they could have a sleepover because it was so warm and inviting. Lisa even went so far as to have an extra folding table for us to use for the dinner. The beds were comfy also! We were there during very snowy weather and Lisa was more than willing to let us have a few hours later check-out so we could avoid the icy roads. We were so relaced and comfortable the entire time. We will be back and will book well in advance because I have a feeling this is a hard spot to book during the peak times on campus! Do not hesitate and book this home!

The access to the lake was great and we used the fire pit outside. Even though it was winter, it was a lovely view and great place to enjoy non screen time with family.

The house was clean and perfect location for us. The owner had more than enough amenities and offered help in whatever questions I had. We plan to stay here on the regular now for visiting our daughter during her next 3 years.

The Real Lake House
