Escape to the country, located on 1400 acres of farm/ranch land, this house and
property is beautiful and spacious. Delightful 25x50' inground outdoor swimming pool. The Tavern Room is a great spot to watch TV on the big screen. There are multiple eating spaces, a well equipped walk-thru kitchen, enclosed walled garden space, outdoor grill and beautifully landscaped property. There are 3 bedrooms - Philadelphia Room with king bed, Franklin Suite with queen bed and the Captain's Quarters with a queen bed. 4 aerobeds with linens makes sleeping for 10 guests. Our property is for adults only and the amenities are for resident guests only. Close to hike/bike trails, Branched Oak Lake and the tourism opportunities in of Lincoln and Omaha. Add on Husker basketball packages with game day tickets. Located in the heart of Nebraska's wineries - James Arthur Vineyards, Glacial Till, Capitol View, and Junto. Guests love the ambience, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the black sky for star gazing, nature's finest including birds and other wildlife. Ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles. We had a weekend getaway as a Mom/daughter trip. The communication was excellent and they were most accommodating. Our travel plans required some adjustment on the check out times and they were happy to oblige. I left some sunglasses there and she was happy to get them back in the post for me. We very much enjoyed meeting people in the small surrounding towns.

Tranquil, Private, Historical Charm

The large swimming pool is the star of the show, but the home and grounds are private with numerous unique and special spaces to suit everyone individually or as a group. A wonderful value, a stay here will leave you feeling "Recreated"!

Family Birthday

My extended family had come from TN and we came from WI to celebrate my granddaughter’s first birthday. We wanted to be close to where my son lived and this location was perfect. Harriet was very accommodating on our arrival time. The house was not only Amazing place to stay but gather together we all loved the pool!!!

Absolutely Beautiful Home in the Country

Our family of 14 held a family gathering for Father's Day at Branched Oak Lake. Seven of us stayed at this home and the rest gathered here during downtime and stayed elsewhere. Not allowing children at this home is a good call as there is soooo many antiques that we adults thoroughly enjoyed. The pool is well-maintained, not heated which was fine for us. We rented a pontoon at the marina and ate dinner one night at Val's in Valpraiso - which was excellent. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings. We would highly recommend. Thanks Harriet!

Great Place To Recharge!

Our families *really* enjoyed the many settings to relax and enjoy the property, whether it is the orchard, the pool area, the home itself with its many rooms, or just a place to see the sky. It was hard to leave but we're already planning to return next year!

Retired ER Nurses Annual Vacation

For the ninth time, our group of friends that worked together as ER nurses Gathered for a long weekend. . This is the third time that we have stayed at this amazing home. The home is spacious with three large bedrooms and three large inside gathering spaces. There is also a covered outside patio site For outdoor dining and a huge pool With lots of seating. The property is quiet and peaceful The home is a short Distance to the James Arthur winery. Great entertainment, and very good wine. Harriet and Jack are perfect hosts.. Plans are underway for returning to the farm next year.

Had a great time in this charming home!

The property is beautiful and very secluded! Harriet had very prompt communication and had Benadryl when we needed some. The pool was amazing and cold on a hot summer day. The beds were more firm but that’s personal preference. Great stay!

College Friends Reunion

We had a fabulous time!! The house and property were perfect for our group. The pool was amazing and everyone loved it. The all seasons room with two walls of windows was the perfect location for dinners together, playing games and listening to the outdoor sounds at night and in the morning. We want to come back!!

This property was amazing, with beautiful views and very peaceful. Was a great place to hang out!! Relaxing with a very nice pool!! You will love having coffee on the patio and listening to nature! Amazing Weekend!

Our group had an amazing getaway at the B&B. The house was so well stockers and big. It was the perfect space for us to stretch out and hangout. Harriet was a great host, thoughtful and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Retired Nurses Weekend Getaway!!

This is the second year that we have spent a long weekend at Pine Crest Farms in rural Nebraska. There are three different tables to gather around for meals and conversation, as well as a number of couches and easy chairs. Best of all, there is a large inground pool on the property surrounded by chase loungers. The water was a perfect temperature for long swims. There were several floats to use in the water. The conversations and the laughter went late into the evening and started again early in the morning over cups of coffee. The kitchen is well stocked and there are two refrigerators to hold the food that you bring in for meals. There is no reason to leave during the weekend, except that there are wineries nearby with great music and food trucks. The hosts are available if needed. They are extremely kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable. We love this house and I’ve already asked to reserve it again for a long weekend next summer!!

We had an amazing long weekend celebrating being friends and enjoyed a very peaceful and quiet house with an amazing pool! Owners were someone friendly and we love the house dog on property too. Fantastic weekend and we will be back again!

Countryside Retreat

This was one of the best VRBO stays we've experienced to date. The property is gorgeous with beautiful tree's, flower gardens, rolling hills, and bonus an extra large pool! The house is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We may have fell in love with Bison the property dog a bit too (he's so sweet). Harriet was very responsive with any questions we had and offered suggestions for great restaurants and nearby activities. Our favorites were Toast in Lincoln, the James Arthur winery, and of course the Omaha Zoo. We had the most relaxing week and hope to make it back to Nebraska soon.

Fabulous start to 50th Birthday with friends

Such a great weekend for my group. Really loved the property and it was perfect in every way! Plenty of space, amenities, great hosts, oh.. and the pool! đŸ€©đŸ€©â˜€ïžâ˜€ïž. We had an event the first night in area. Then, we relaxed, cooked, sunned and had a great 2nd day/ night. Fabulous weekend. Perfect way to slow walk my way into my 50’s ..ha. Just wish I could give this more than 5 stars- Absolutely recommend! 👍👍 Thank you for everything, we’ll be back!
