Excellent location and a charming house. Loved being able to walk to breakfast on main street and was only a few miles from the wedding venue. The decor is in keeping with the house's age and makes me want to put up a picture rail at home.

We really appreciated all of the attention to detail at the Post Mistress House - very 7nviting and interesting as we learned more about the history. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had all of the essentials and creature comforts. We loved the huge showers in each bathroom. The beds are amazing, so much so we had to ask what brand they are. The hosts were visiting next door and were so friendly. Steve and Denise gave us a tour of thier neighboring rentals. Very special Cottonwood history in good hands.We will be back!

This has to be one of the best VRBO properties we've stayed at! We loved all of the history and historic touches paired with the upgraded comforts, bedding, shower, too much to list. We cannot wait to come back and bring the rest of the family. I also had the pleasure of meeting Denise and Steve and what a sweet lovely couple. It's apparent they put a ton of love into their properties.

Absolutely wonderful home. Immaculate, cozy and quaint. Kitchen stocked well for anything needed to prepare meals. The bed was very comfortable. Location very good to walk along Main Street. Close to train depot to take the Verde Valley train.

This is a beautiful historic home, wonderfully updated, but with many vintage touches throughout. It is only a five minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Main Street. We got to meet the owners, Denise and Steve, who were extremely friendly and nice. They told us lots of interesting stories regarding the history of this home, and of their other properties next to this one, (which they very kindly invited us inside to see). They called their renovation of these homes as "a labor of love" which very obviously is true. We highly recommend this or any of the homes owned by Denise and Steve.

Property was everything it was advertised to be. A very charming well appointed house with historical items added. Hosts have provided for all your basic travel needs plus extras as bathrobes & upscale toiletries. Overalla most pleasant stay. We will be back again.

We found the property to be very nice, clean and comfortable for us. The house would be ideal for 2 couples as it is set up as 2 master bedrooms with large bathrooms. The kitchen was adequately stocked with what would be needed to prepare about any meal one may want to prepare. We didn't use the outside amenities as the temps during the mid day drained us and we chose to enjoy the air conditioned inside. Local shopping and dining is plentiful. Overall if you are a wine taster or need a jumping off point for the scenic areas, this property won't disappoint.

Perfect Home for a Cottonwood Getaway

We had an amazing time at this property. Walking distance to Old Town and a short drive from everything there is to offer. The house has many historical elements which was very fun to read about. The house is freshly renovated, was spotless, and had everything we ever could have asked for. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Cottonwood!
