The Space:

Enjoy the comfort of this single-level holiday home, perfectly situated for your coastal getaway. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to prepare delicious meals, with a convenient HEB nearby for groceries. Relax and unwind on the old-school boardwalk porch, sipping your favorite drink while enjoying the coastal breeze. The covered back patio offers a perfect setting for barbecues. Ample parking is available for your guests, boat, kayaks, or golf cart on the spacious lot. Explore nearby attractions such as the Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trail, or enjoy shore fishing at public piers. A short drive takes you to Rockport, and the beaches, jetties, shopping, and dining of Port Aransas are just a ferry ride away.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire single-level holiday home, including three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living and dining area, a full bathroom, and both the patio and balcony. Getting around from Tejas Angler Retreat is easy! Free parking is available on the spacious lot for your vehicles, boat, kayaks, or golf cart. For those arriving by air, Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP) is approximately a 45-minute drive away. While Aransas Pass is best explored by car, you'll find local shops and dining options within a short drive. The ferry to Port Aransas, offering access to beaches, jetties, and more dining, is also easily accessible by car. Consider using ride-sharing services for convenient transportation to nearby attractions.

Welcome to Tejas Angler Retreat! Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Please note that this is a non-smoking property, and pets are not allowed. We enjoyed our stay very much. The master bed was softer that my preference and a bit of a squeaky thing. So be aware. The security lights are nice at night, but they tend to light up the bedroom while we were trying to sleep and forget about trying to sleep in for a few as once the sun is up the room is as bright as daytime. And the BBQ pit under the shaded pavilion has seen better day (though still usable) some may want to bring their own, none of which takes away from how happy we were with our stay. I can see us coming here again. Lovely place.
Our boy was very happy, most of the time. Not so much here. LoL
The grill needed extensive cleaning.

Really beautiful loved every single aspect of being in the house. Kids really enjoyed the bunkbeds. Very clean. And had just about every single utensil that we needed. Absolutely loved it. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Air conditioning worked well, location was great for what we needed, enough room for everyone. Had all the kitchen equipment we needed to use. We had to access to a washer/dryer in the house, eventhough the listing says it’s included. I couldn’t even find them in the house. We weren’t given a key, code, or instructions for that if needed. I would recommend no rugs in the house or a strict no shoes policy due to all the stickers. When we arrived there were stickers imbedded into every rug in the house. The ac vents in the ceiling were pretty dusty, especially the one in the bathroom. There was a pillow in one of the rooms on the bed that was a pillowcase full of cotton that got everywhere. There were several lightbulbs out as well. There were no sheets for the pull out couch bed so we had to use one of the other bed’s quilt to lay down on it. I would recommend people being told to bring their own or maybe providing sheets and extra blankets for that bed.But overall it was a good stay for the events we came into town for. And the Esperanza out front is beautiful!!

The house was adorable and matched the online description. We accidently locked ourselves out of the house the first night. It was hard trying to find the contact information since the phone that had the code and email was in the house. But once we found the contact information, the woman we spoke to on the phone was super helpful. The only gripe i would have was that the house was not cleaned very well. There were ants and hair everywhere in the house. Also, the bath tub is broken and looks gross.

Clean home with good location, lacking in communication

This home is in a great location- close to the ferry and walking distance to HEB. The home is clean and comfortable, including beds. On our second day there, the AC unit went out at some point.When we arrived that night, we noticed the unit was broken.I contacted the property manager who asked us to check breakers, which we did with no luck. She offered to reimburse for a hotel stay that night, which was appreciated. Finding a hotel for 6 people on a Friday with a dog was challenging, but we did find one. We were told an AC tech would be out by 10 am to fix the unit. We left the house at 930am, before AC tech was supposed arrive. I received no contact from property manager about status of unit at all until I contacted her at 2:00 Saturday asking if it was fixed. We were told the tech was en route, and it was not fixed yet.We got to the house around 430 and unit was still not fixed. Unit was finally fixed about 530 and the house still had to cool down. Property manager did tell us she would reimburse for hotel stay and one night stay at the VRBO which we deemed sufficient. We were told today our refund should arrive in a few days. Communication was my biggest challenge with this house. I feel there should have been more communication about the AC and when it would be fixed. I understand these things happen, but updates would have been appreciated. I also had to contact her about where to send said hotel receipts, when we would receive the refund.

The rental property was a good value. When we thought there was an issue with the a/c the management had someone come out very quickly. Our 2 major issues were there wasn’t enough frying pans for eggs and bacon. The glass frying pans didn’t work well and neither did the soft silicone pancake turner because it was too flexible. There were only three coffee mugs. The other issue was the grass needed to be cut. The mosquitoes were very bad in the whole area because of a lot of recent rain, but having the grass so long only contributed to the mosquito issue in the yard.

Great Place to Stay!

This property has a great location in Aransas Pass! It was super to easy to navigate to Port Aransas and with in the neighborhood. The place was clean and had plenty of kitchen items. Overall would recommend staying here!
