Blue Buoy is a freshly decorated, coastal-chic A-Frame retreat nestled in the laid-back Leeward Sands neighborhood of Port Aransas. Just a quick 3-minute golf cart ride to the beach, shops, and local restaurants, this pet-friendly getaway (with a fully enclosed yard) is perfect for a relaxed coastal escape.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, the home features one king bedroom, one queen bedroom with a twin trundle, a sleeper sofa, and a sleeper chair—ideal for families or groups. Step outside to your private custom pool complete with a tanning ledge, heater for year-round enjoyment, and a chiller to keep things cool during the summer months—perfect for anglers and non-anglers alike.
Unwind on the wraparound deck or the shaded patio, equipped with a charcoal grill for BBQs or post-fishing meals. Inside, the cozy living room offers comfortable seating with a sleeper sofa and armchairs, plus a large Smart TV for streaming your favorite services or enjoying 100+ channels through our provider.
The recently remodeled kitchen features trendy subway tile, seating for four, easy deck access, and a dedicated coffee bar with both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. A convenient half bath is located just off the living area.
Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms at the top of the wood-treaded stairs, including one overlooking the private pool. Each bedroom offers a wall-mounted Smart TV with our service provider and spacious closets. A shared full bathroom with a tiled tub/shower is located between the bedrooms. A washer and dryer are available on the ground level in the enclosed storage area.
For the full Port A experience, rent a golf cart from Life in Paradise and explore with ease—everything you need is just minutes away. Blue Buoy is a custom beach home that truly checks every box for a fun-filled Gulf Coast getaway.

Things to Know:

Private Heated Pool- The pool can be heated or cooled for $50.00 per day and must be for the duration of your stay. Pools are serviced weekly, upwards of twice per week during the summertime. Services may be performed while occupied.
Pet Friendly with $95 Fee per Pet, Maximum 2 Pets.
Charcoal Grill- Please bring charcoal.
Keurig and drip coffee maker. Please bring K-cups, coffee and filters.
Laundry detergent not provided.
Beach Towels not provided.
Property comes with a starter pack of toiletries, any supplies beyond this are up to the guest to replenish.
WIFI- We provide WIFI to enhance your stay and keep you connected. While Port A is typically reliable, you may experience occasional outages beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.
Parking for 4 vehicles. No parking in the street. Boat and trailer parking permitted in the drive way.

The entire property needs maintenance. The pool isn’t very clean, the walking path up to the entrance is overgrown making it hard to walk up or down the stairs. I messaged the property and received no response. There are stains on the carpets and the floor is uneven and feels like you can fall through on some parts. I wouldn’t book again.

Place was a little run down, but clean. Pool was also clean and the kids loved it! Good location away from the crazy, but still close enough to get around in a golf cart. We had a good time, no major complaints.

50th Anniversary celebration

Was a fantastic weekend stay! Pool was excellent as in law’s can’t stay out in the sun too long! So went to beach for couple of hours and the rest of the day we spent at pool! Part of the pool is under the top deck of the house! This provided shade if one needed to get out of the sun, but you can still be in the pool!

Easter Family Vacation

We enjoyed a weekend in Port Aransas and stayed at this charming beach house. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Living room and bedrooms were cozy. It was convenient having access to the pool. The weather was warm, but not hot enough to warm the pool water. The neighborhood was quiet and folks in the area did a polite wave as we passed by. The best part was renting a go-cart. Recommend renting a cart in advance, with the holiday weekend we secured one by luck! We would like to make another trip out. I recommend this place for your stay.

Lovely home

The property was a great place to get away for the weekend. Our teen daughter was having so much fun in the pool that she didn’t even care about the beach. We chose this property because of the pool and pets policy. It was spotless, no signs of past pets. As clean as it was, it did smell like mold in the entry but I just chalk that up to the climate there. The only other thing I would like to mention is a soft spot on the floor of the kitchen. I would not hesitate to book again!

A good but older property. The second floor was not level in one corner. I would think that should be addressed. The stairs to the second floor are extremely narrow and hazardous. There is a warning sign on the main floor. Not a good choice for seniors.

Needs work

The house was perfect for the 3 of us, but definitely needs some work. We did not have hot water during our stay because the hot water heater was not hooked up. Also, this is a pet friendly property, but there is NO grass in the backyard. Not a deal breaker, but my dogs would have preferred at least a small patch of grass.

Nice stay overall, with a few minor problems

Nice house...very well kept, but had trouble the whole time with the wifi. Also had trouble with the lighting by the pool. There isnt a switch, only a plug that we found hidden behind a chair at the upper deck. Even at that, it was only half the lighting. No major problems though...would go back for the price.
