Indulge in the comfort and luxury of The Island Treehouse. Located one block from the beach and steps away from the great restaurants and nightlife of Port Aransas, this 4BR/3.5BA coastal beach house boasts a private plunge pool, a gourmet kitchen, and one of the only Tesla car chargers on the island.

There is room to park a maximum of 4 vehicles (including a golf cart) between the pillars under our house. We do not have room for RVs, boats, or trailers.

*In order to protect our guests and our property, we ask our guests to agree to and sign a standard rental agreement upon booking. Below are the terms of this agreement, so that you may review them before choosing to book with us:



 TERM: The term of the Lease shall begin on the arrival date of and end on the departure date of for . The property will be ready for occupancy no earlier than on the arrival date and must be vacated no later than on the departure date. The term of the Lease may be reduced or extended upon mutual consent, following payment of any additional fees agreed between the parties, and confirmed in writing by the Owner.



RENT: The total rent is payable at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Owner and Renter.



LIMITED OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is limited to the number of guests specified on the booking: .  If the Owner concludes that this policy has been breached, the Owner reserves the right to expel the entire party with no refund.



NON-DISTURBANCE CLAUSE: Renter and their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks), or create inconvenience for neighbors nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes. You agree to keep outside noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.  You and all other guests agree to abide by all applicable parking restrictions and limitations.



CARE OF PREMISES/DAMAGES: NO UNAUTHORIZED PETS ALLOWED. NO SMOKING PERMITTED IN HOUSE. Automatic eviction plus forfeit of any deposit and rent if violated. Renter agrees to pay the Owner for any damages to furnishings, household items, or pool that occur as a result of Renter’s occupancy. This will include payment of any additional cleaning charges over $100.00 incurred due to Renter’s occupancy. To prevent theft of, or damage to, the Renter's personal property and that of the Property, Renter agrees to close and lock doors and windows when not present at the Property, including upon check-out.



OWNERS RIGHTS: Renter agrees that if the conditions and limitations set forth herein are not met, Owner shall have the right to cancel this agreement and may enter the Property, either by statutory proceedings or by force, to inspect the Property and ensure that Renter has vacated the Property. All monies paid by Renter shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.



INDEMNITY CLAUSE: Renter hereby agrees to Indemnify and hold the Owner harmless from any and all claims, including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to Renter’s use of Property or the items of personal property provided therein.  Renter assumes all risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities, including the use of any swimming pool on the Property, and will hold Owner harmless with respect thereto.



NO SUBLETTING: Renter may not sublet or assign this Lease for all or any part of the premises without the prior written consent of the Owner.



NO PERMANENT RESIDENCE: Renter's use of the Property is on a temporary, short-term, and transient basis only. The Property is not, and will not be, the Renter's, or any guest's, permanent residence.



REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE:  The Property is rented with the Owner’s furniture and household furnishings. The owner shall not be responsible for providing additional furnishings or equipment not presently available in the Property.  Renter will report any maintenance issues immediately to the Owner. The Owner will make every effort to repair and/or replace any equipment that is not working properly but cannot guarantee that all equipment is in good operating order at all times and no rate adjustments or refund will be made for equipment or appliance failures.



CANCELLATIONS: Renter may cancel at any time. The Owner will return any refundable amount, if applicable, according to the reservation's cancellation policy.

By signing this Lease, you acknowledge that you will comply with the terms of this agreement, and each party assumes the responsibility for the obligations set forth herein.

Renter acknowledges receipt of the House Rules.

The Good-The location could not have been better. It’s was a new house. The bed was really comfortable. The water was nice and hot and had a pretty bath tub. The Bad-It had a strong unusual smell
 especially downstairs but still very much noticeable upstairs. This smell stuck on our personal belonging and could smell even smell it on clothing articles when we returned home unloading our suitcases and bags. There were two areas where the vinyl floor was coming up like a bubble
. Odd to walk on. It was not a deal breaker but for the nightly price, you wouldn’t expect this. Four roach-like bugs were inside. The lounge pool must have a cooler on it because we personally found the pool too cold (August stay), the pictures of the pool online are very deceiving
 the pool is not a swimming pool, it’s tiny. It should be marketed as a plunge pool not swimming pool. Parking is really tight. Neighbors place was rented out to a bunch of college aged party guys who had a physical fight outside at 3am.

Excellent Location

This house was perfect for our stay in Port A, both close to the beach and shopping. The house itself was very clean with plenty of bedrooms for family members and a lower level washer and dryer that came in handy. The pool was just the right size for a quick swim or to sit near and enjoy the weather. Access to a large table for outdoor meals was also a plus. Communication with owners was another positive. Basically, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for another visit.

The only drawback is that the bunk beds and twin beds which would be more for kids were downstairs which was the outside entrance to the property. We had an adult sleep downstairs with the kids

The Island Treehouse is a Fantastic Place.

The Island Treehouse matches the online listing with is extremely detailed. The house is very clean and spacious. The host is incredibly responsive, we had a minor issues while staying there and Gretchen went above and beyond to fix the issues. The parking is a touch if you drive bigger vehicles but other than that the property is great!

Walking distance to beach! Very clean!

We had good time at this place. Owner was very prompt in communication. Parking is little tight, but not bad at all. Hottub was warm by the time we reached and kids enjoyed it. I will visit again to this place.

Birthday Weekend

We hosted our daughter and 6 friends for her 18th birthday weekend celebration. Family came over Saturday for the afternoon and evening festivities. The property had plenty of room for our overnight guests and even our daytime extras. Parking was a bit if an issue, but thankfully most carpooled for the Saturday visit. The property was very clean, well stocked, great kitchen/dining/living area. The bedrooms were oh so comfortable. The bathrooms were perfect for our big group. The patio dining and BBQ area worked great for Saturday afternoon hanging out. The teenagers loved the heated pool. I would recommend this property to anyone. Loved being close to the beach and on a access road. Nothing can be done about the weather, but being in a great house made up for the foul weather.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a great time at the Island Tree House! The location was amazing and close to the beach, shops and restaurants. This is also the only place we have ever rented in Port Aransas and everything worked, was properly stocked and was clean. My only gripe would be we were cold and wished there were extra throw blankets. We will definitely put this spot on the list for next year!

Family Weekend Getaway

All great at the property! We enjoyed the new home. Kitchen amazing and very comfy beds. The house is clean and well equipped. The golf cart rental included with stay is a BIG plus to us for the beach as it is so close. Only negative is that I wish the owners would allow a bit later check out instead of 10:00. Port A for Labor Day!

Our family of 10 enjoyed this lovely property over the Labor Day weekend. All the amenities we needed and within walking distance to so many Port A shops and restaurants. We had a lot of rain over our stay but we still enjoyed playing games and watching movies when it was too wet on the beach. We would highly recommend The Island Treehouse!
