La Mirage Condominiums Condo 116 is a three-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental in Port Aransas!
This newly remodeled unit is equipped with a full kitchen with all new appliances. The dining table awaits with seating for 8. The living area has a large 75 inch flat screen TV and comfortable seating for your whole group, which includes new genuine leather sofa/sleeper, new genuine leather push-back recliner, and a new genuine leather rocking recliner.
All beds are new and feature top-of-the-line plush mattresses. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom with a private ensuite master bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All bedrooms feature flat screen TVs.This spacious condo sleeps up to 8 and has a new washer / dryer in the unit available for guest use.
The large patio provides a beautiful view of the courtyard area featuring 4 comfortable HDPE Adirondack chairs with ottoman extensions and two matching bar-height chairs and tables, while the front entryway provides a breathtaking view of the bay!

Fun getaway

The property is older but kept up nicely. The pools and the sports court were great. The unit was a good fit for us with 2 adult couples and 3 small children. The porch is spacious and nice lounge chairs. The kitchen is very minimally stocked with essentials for cooking. We didn’t cook too much anyways. Just breakfasts and lunches. The bathrooms had no hand soap, we used the shower soap bar. The showers had single use shampoo/conditioner that was not even close to enough for our group, and not good quality to get all the saltwater out of thick hair. The shower head in the smaller bathroom is VERY low, I’m 6’ and it hit me mid back, I had to almost kneel to wash my hair. Not big deal but if you’re taller and not flexible it might be an issue. There is no beach equipment provided- chairs, towels, etc. which was a bummer as we flew and didn't pack chairs and towels along. You can rent a chair for 15/day from the office on fcfs basis which adds up fast with multiple people and multiple days. Would be nice to see folding beach chairs and beach towels provided in the unit. It is a beach condo after all, and that’s what people are there for. There is an area by the boardwalk where you can grab some toys to use, and rinse off after the beach, which was nice. The beach is beautiful, and we enjoyed that! The location of the condos is about 6 miles west of the main area of shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay! Lots to do on the island and the condo was a good home base

Great Trip!

The condo was great - it looked just like the pictures online. Parking was convenient and free. The pools and hot tubs were clean and a nice addition for the proximity to the Gulf. The walk to the beach is easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice place to stay, but I would not call it beachfront. From the front of the building it is a good walk to the boardwalk and we couldn't use it as there was so much water you had to walk through the dunes and grasses to even get to the boardwalk. This unit was nice; however, the overall property is creepy and rundown.

It was a great location for us- enjoyed evenings on the balcony. Love that the resort has many activities for the guests- pool were in good working order and clean. Could have used a couple extra blankets- overall enjoyed the stay and would book this unit again

Great stay

The complex is still recovering from the hurricane but they appear to be working really hard to bet everything done. Property older but very clean. The unit was up to date and very nice. Bit of a crazy walk to the beach but not horrendous.

Great location, easy beach access

We enjoyed our time at the condo! The space was as advertised. It was clean and offered most amenities needed for a multi-day stay. Access to the pools, hot tubs, and beach was the primary draw. Even though the temps were still a bit on the cool side, we spent most days playing in the sand and waves. The rental was quiet and conveniently located. It was an easy drive to beach access roads and both nearby towns. I would rent again if we’re in the area in the future!

Deceptive

Beware, the pictures on the site are very deceptive - building and rooms are very old. We checked in and were given a room with garden view and the room had a foul odor. So, I asked to be moved and also asked for an oceanfront view as there were only 10 to 20 rooms being used, we were told there were none available. The conditions of the facility is not worth the cost.

Family getaway

We chose this place because my son had stayed here before and I have to agree what he had said reasonable, friendly and clean. Even though it rain we had a great time. I have to compliment the staff they were friendly and always keeping up with the place. The receptionist was awesome very sweet😊

Nice vacation rental property!

We had a great time at this condo and the property was as pictured. The only thing I would suggest is to have thick comforter’s available for beds as the ones on the bed were very thin and me and my mom were too cold at night but my husband and father felt the temp was perfectly fine, had an uncomfortable night due to that but other than that it was great! We ended up purchasing some throws at a nearby store for the second night. 😉
