While the exterior of this building may not be the most picturesque, it has been carefully renovated since its 1950s construction to provide a comfortable and private experience. If you tend to judge a place by its appearance, this may not be the right fit for you. However, if you're looking for space, privacy, and a unique stay, this cozy studio offers exactly that! đĄ
The studio features a comfortable shotgun-style living area, a walk-in closet, and all the essentials for a pleasant stay.
South Texas Living đ
As with most of South Texas, high heat and humidity can be expected. Our location is within 2 miles of the beach đïž, surrounded by palm trees đŽ, which adds to the region's charm but also brings a few natural quirks.
A Note on Pests đŠ
This area is home to a few pesky critters, and while they don't mean any harm, they can sometimes make an appearance. Cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, Roly Polys (pill bugs), June bugs, small ants, and spiders đ·ïž are occasional visitorsâall non-venomous and natural to the environment. They are mostly attracted to the exterior lights at night or the humidity in the bathroom if not properly ventilated.
These bugs are part of the South Texas experience and will come regardless of cleanliness or food availability.
Eco-Friendly Approach đ
Since this studio is available for families and pets, we aim to keep the space as natural and chemical-free as possible. You'll notice white dust (food-grade diatomaceous earth) in some areas, which we reapply every Friday. This helps minimize pests without harsh chemicals.

Self-Check-In: No need to worry about your arrival time! We have a lockbox for easy access to the property. đ
The Neighborhood:
The studio is located in an older neighborhood that is gradually undergoing gentrification, bringing new energy and development to the area. Youâll see a bit of harmless foot traffic as locals go about their shopping, giving the area a lively, authentic vibe. đïž
The space offers great open areas, with a small park right across the streetâideal for a peaceful stroll or outdoor relaxation. đł
You'll also find a mix of familiar chain restaurants and beloved local mom-and-pop spots nearby, offering plenty of dining options. đđđœïž
Please note: There is road construction currently taking place in the area, and the undeveloped lot next door is being used by the construction crew. đ§
