This is a brand new, adorable home on stilts located in town within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and bars. There is ample parking for 4 vehicles or a watercraft and golf cart. Enjoy sipping your morning cup of coffee in the island breeze of the front balcony or just cooling off from a day of fishing. Walk inside to the open area floorplan for all guests to gather. The living room has two futons, which fold out to sleepers, and two accent chairs, TV, cable, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is stocked with basic pots, pans, and utensils for your cooking needs. The dining table has seating for 4. Bedroom 1 (BR1) has a Queen-sized bed, nightstand, accent chair, chest for your beach attire, and a TV. The bathroom has a tub/shower. The second bedroom (BR2) has a Queen size bed, dresser, and nightstand. The bathroom has a tub/shower. The washer and dryer are neatly tucked away in the hallway. This home is conveniently located 0.2 miles from restaurants, shops, and bars. 0.8 miles to the Beach, and 0.7 miles to the Marina.

We really enjoyed the location, being close to downtown and to birding places. The place itself was very cute - being up and stilts made you feel like you were in the sky! It would be fantastic for a small family with a couple kids, with the whimsical fish pillows and wall hangings. We liked them too, but found the place a tad uncomfortable for our somewhat elderly tastes. We would have liked softer furniture and beds, but that may be a matter of personal taste. A couple other nitpicks - the requirement to upload documents was a little annoying, and we just stopped by the office instead. Also, there was a slow drain, but they fixed it right away. But all in all, a good stay and a great place!

This was a great place to stay for a quick weekend fishing trip. Located close to everything in Port A! Walking distance to a lovely dessert shop, restaurants, and bars. We accidentally left an item at the house and the hosts were quick and communicative with getting it found shipped back to us. Thank y'all for the stay!

Great Location

This was a cute, comfortable place with everything we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked with quality dishes and cookware. We enjoyed the deck but there was no outside dining table. The living room was very nice and as shown in the listing. It was a great in-town location for restaurants, birding sites, the ferry and the coast. Make sure you check the amenities list, there were a few things I expected would be included but were not. Management company response time is a bit longer than other places but within 12 hours.

Loved It!

House is awesome and the location couldn’t be better. While the house is fairly new the listing says it’s brand new and that probably should be changed, however it’s still very nice and clean. We could feel the house swaying a tiny bit but it wasn’t bothersome and probably normal for a house on stilts not a big deal at all. Only real complaint is that we only had 1 trash bag in the kitchen and for a family of four being there five days that didn’t work. We would have brought our own but wasn’t really aware of that before our trip.
