Affordable Efficiency 717E--In-Town, Easy Beach Access, and Pet-Friendly!

Welcome to Below Deck! This bright and colorful efficiency unit is tucked away in a quiet area, but is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and everything that Port A has to offer. The beach is only a few blocks down Avenue G and is perfect for a quick beach getaway or fishing trip. It has a queen bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker for your convenience. A wi-fi enabled smart television to stream your subscription programming and wireless internet are included with your stay.

Outside, you'll find a small patio for enjoying the gulf breezes and a fenced SHARED yard that is shared by the complex for your four-legged friends to use. We've just added a shared breezeway for the complex with covered seating and a game area. It's a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.

There is one parking space for this condo. Any additional cars, boats or trailers will need to be parked on the street.

There is not a washer/dryer in the unit, so please plan accordingly.

Below Deck is one of five units on the property which can be rented if you have additional guests. Contact us for more details or with assistance in booking multiple units.

This property is DOG friendly. We welcome well trained dogs that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 1 dog for this small space. We charge a $25 pet fee and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone.

The primary renter MUST BE at least 25 years old who may be asked to produce a state issued ID in order to check into the property. If the primary renter is less than 25 years old, the reservation will be canceled without a refund.

Best hosts on the island!

Nancy and her crew are the best hosts on the island. Friendly, on site management. Reasonable prices and clean comfortable units. We’ve stayed with them twice and highly recommend!

Great location close to the beach. Nice fenced in area for your pup and comfortable common area to sit in the mornings/evenings. Although close to downtown businesses was quiet but little bright in room at night with outdoor lighting.

Great room at the Beach!

Our room at Island Getaway was clean, safe, centrally located and had all we needed for a great beach vacation! Check-in was seamless and had easy communications with our hosts. The new common areas are very nice as well. We will be back!

Perfect for me and my daughter. No frills just a basic, clean, comfy room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the shower head had good pressure. I liked the location, walking distance to shops, a bar. It’s a nice place for a short visit.

Absolutely adequate

This property provided a base for sleeping and relaxing on a fishing filled four night adventure. This property is a little spartan but more than adequate for resting and freshening up during our stay. I have no problem recommending this property for those on a budget.

My husband and I loved it! Easy to find, about 3 to 5 minute drive to the beach! It's pretty quiet for the most part. The hosts were very quick to respond if we needed anything. We brought our dog with us. They have a little fence in yard. Will definitely stay there again whenever we go back!

Basic but served the purpose

Me and my gal pal booked this for our nighttime lodging during the annual Fish Out. Provided were 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths and hand soap so we improvised and made it work during our 3 night stay. Bring your own shampoo and bath soap. Air condition was nice and cold, bed was comfy.
