Sonoma's Hideaway is close to shopping, delicious restaurants, and fun attractions for the entire family like an arcade, bike rentals, wild horse tours, and much more! Since they're right across the street, why not hop over to the historic Corolla lighthouse and wildlife conservation park? It's a must-see for NC history buffs and wildlife lovers! While we always encourage guests to spend time on the majestic Corolla beaches, when you book a stay at Sonoma's Hideaway you'll also have many other options to fill your days. Take a dip in the community pool (just steps from your front door), grab some shade under a cabana, work up a sweat in the community gym, then grab a bite to refuel from the on-site food hut! The ground level offers the main entry point and holds all the common areas: a large living area with a sleeper sofa, a dining area, and a kitchen that will perfectly accommodate preparing your favorite coastal cuisines! The level also holds a convenient half bath.
When you're ready to call it a night, head upstairs and find all 3 bedrooms; 2 master king bedrooms with en suite baths, and a master queen bedroom with an en suite bath. You can sip your coffee in the mornings or just step outside at any point during the day to feel the Corolla sea breeze from the top-level deck. Spend the day shopping in the nearby Corolla Light Shopping Center with plenty of dining and bar options for when you get hungry or thirsty, including Uncle Ike's Sandbar & Grill, the Corolla Cantina, and the infamous Sanderling Resortâjust to name a few! ! Located right across the street, the history buffs in your group will love exploring the historic Whalehead Club and the Currituck Maritime Museum or climbing to the top of the Currituck Lighthouse for an amazing 360-degree view of the surrounding town. To get a true Corolla experience, don't forget to take a safari-style wild horse tour where you can watch the Corolla wild mustangs roam the 4x4 beaches.
