Located in Section K of the idyllic Ocean Sands community in Corolla, this 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom home is perfect for relaxation and fun in the sun. Splash around in your private pool (with option to heat for an additional fee) or unwind in the bubbly hot tub. Bring your canine family member along to enjoy your screened porch and furnished sun deck before heading out onto the walking and bike trail access provided as part of your stay in the Ocean Sands community. Enjoy all the wonderful additional benefits that come with staying in Ocean Sands, including a 7-Acre Fishing Lake, covered picnic area, tennis courts, and access to the Corolla bike path. And with the Spinnaker Arch or Mainsail Arch beach accesses only 0.4 miles/7-minute walk away, your stay can't get much better than this.

With your first step inside this delightful oceanside home, you'll know you've made it to the beach. You'll find a comfortable sitting area with a Queen sleeper sofa and access to the beautiful private pool and grill for impressing the family with your seafood prep skills. Outside, you'll also find a fish cleaning table to prepare the catch of the day and an outdoor shower that's perfect for cleaning up after your time at the beach. The laundry is also conveniently located on this level to make cleaning up a breeze.

On the middle level, you'll find a hot tub sitting outside on the deck, where you can relax and smell the ocean less than half a mile away. Inside sit 2 Queen Bedrooms and a Bedroom with 1 Twin Single Bed and 1 Pyramid Bunk, ensuring that there's room for every member of your family to sleep. This level also has a full bathroom to share.

Heading upstairs from the foyer on the middle level, the top level boasts a furnished sun deck and screened porch for enjoying coffee with the sunrise or a meal under the sun. Prepare a delicious seafood dinner in the modern kitchen for everyone to enjoy in the dining area with a table that seats 6 and additional seating nearby. The house was a mess, not in the condition of the photos. The couch was so old and dirty the cushions were saggy and gross. The drawers in the fridge were broken. Dead bug on the blinds, corners of rooms, corners of ceilings. Hot tub had a leak. Blue electrical tape holding the window units in. I had a 2 week stay so paid for maids to come end of first week to clean. She did not clean. The beds were unmade, sand in the tubs and sinks, floors still had dead bugs, literally only took out the trash. One maid was sent out for a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house! I did call the rental company who apologized and then sent the SAME one maid back to ‘clean’. She asked me what she should do? It was a total disaster. The mattress in the bedroom by the kitchen was so squeaky it woke me up anytime I moved. I understand these beach houses are not luxurious but this was just uncomfortable and we ended up leaving early.

Great stay

We stayed here for three weeks and had a few hiccups at first but the property owner was extremely helpful in rectifying. We had a great stay here! Very short walk to Timbuck 2. We had little kids with us so we were walking to/from the beach a couple of times a day - the walk was a little farther then was convenient for us, but if you aren’t making multiple trips to and from it’s an easy easy walk. So sad our trip is over! Lots of memories made here.

Great house, great location

We stayed here with our two pups and enjoyed our stay greatly. Although we didn’t use the whole house (it was just the two of us) it was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was a great addition, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking an evening bike ride with each night. The beds were comfy too. The bonus of having the beach equipment credit was great! The beach was about a 12 minute walk and about a 5 minute bike ride, but wasn’t too bad at all. There’s also a nice lake at the end of the street that we visited. Great place!

Improvements needed but overall great!

We had a great time. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub as did the adults. The house could use some general wear and tear maintenance and replacements. The refrigerator was missing the bottom glass so you couldn’t use it as a storage shelf. We improvised and used one of the oven racks and placemats from the table and it worked fine. The hot tub cover literally fell apart when we opened the hot tub from just dry rot. A lot of the foam came down into the tub that we needed to clean out. While the linens appeared clean, there was some stains that would give people the impression of not being clean. Some ants accumulated by the trash. All things were very minor and easy to improvise and work around, overall the house is well maintained.
