Inside: designed to make the most of its captivating sea views, and conceived as an impeccably contemporary home, Iola is characterised by clean geometric lines, floor-to-ceiling walls of sliding glass doors that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, sleek, sophisticated materials, numerous bespoke features, and an attention to detail that encompasses everything from the lighting to the artwork.

Accommodation at Iola is on two levels and flows effortlessly with the outdoor areas. The main entrance takes one into the hub of the home, a spacious, airy, open-concept space that's divided into three well-defined and beautifully furnished areas: a sitting area with large sofa and a couple of armchairs, a dining area with designer table and chairs, and a bespoke, sea-view Italian kitchen equipped with a central island and breakfast bar, and an array of top-level appliances. A wide wall of sliding glass doors drink in the light and the views and offer seamless access to the al fresco lounge and dining terraces, featuring a built-in barbecue, a worktop and a sink.

A door to one side of this room leads into the main bedroom, an enchanting, tranquil space where fitted wardrobes, electric curtains and a king-sized bed ensure an extremely high level of comfort. More of those floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors bring in the sea views and provide access to the surrounding terraces and gardens, while an opulent en-suite bathroom with a large free-standing bath, walk-in shower, and double sinks oozes luxury. Across the other side of the open-concept living and dining area, a glass walkway leads to the second bedroom on this level, a sea-view double with en-suite shower room and sliding glass doors accessing a panoramic balcony.

A flight of stairs leads down from the corridor between the living area and the second bedroom to the lower level. Here a wide, luminous hallway provides access to a double-twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, sea views and access to a gloriously verdant lawn, a large Swedish sauna with adjacent shower room, a yoga and Pilates studio, and a fabulous cinema room with a 110-inch projector screen, a commodious sink-in sofa, and a kitchenette with fridge, sink, dishwasher and coffee machine. A door to one side of the screen, meanwhile, leads into a corridor, off which, via an ante-room, one may access the final two bedrooms, both double-twins with en-suite shower rooms and access to the gardens.

Outside: Iola's open-concept communal space and all its bedrooms except one flow outside via floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall sliding glass doors. The villa's roof extends out to provide shade for the beautifully furnished outdoor living area. Views from here take in the gorgeous infinity pool, with its subtle mosaic tiling and adjacent matching Jacuzzi, the sea, and the coastline of northeastern Corfu. This panorama is shared by the shady al fresco dining area, which is served by a stainless steel kitchen and BBQ. On the other side of the outdoor living area is an expanse of emerald lawn furnished with sun loungers. The gardens wrap around the property, alternating beds of aromatic shrubs with pine and olive trees, manicured lawns and paths. Carefully designed external lighting ensures that all of the outdoor spaces take on a magical glow as the sun sets and night falls.

Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

In high season, and particularly on weekends, flights can be heard coming in to land at nearby Corfu Airport.
Iola is situated on the exclusive promontory of Kommeno, just 11km (a 20-minute drive or taxi ride) north of Corfu Town, with its UNESCO World Heritage centre, and its excellent range of shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife.

The nearest beach, Spilios, is a 5-minute walk away (10 minutes back up steps) and has a bar, taverna and water sports equipment. There are several other tavernas within walking distance (some of which are along an unlit road without pavements) while an adjacent 5-star hotel offers a selection of more upscale options.

The nearest towns with amenities (mini-markets, shops, bakeries, cafés, etc) are Dassia and Gouvia, a few minutes' drive away. They both also have beaches with water sports facilities and, where the latter is concerned, a busy marina.
