The gas fireplace in the living room will keep the entire place warm during cold nights and the furnished balcony is a great place to hang out - the views are wonderful! You'll have access to a shared hot tub, perfect for your muscles after spending the day shredding some powder at the slopes. The ski locker is a great way to store your gear while you thaw out in the hot tub. Get in a little early-morning exercise in the fitness room then relax with a movie or show on the large flatscreen TV.

Taylor's Doorstep will let you experience all that beautiful Summit County has to offer! You'll be staying in the center of charming Copper Mountain, a small town near the popular mountain and ski resort of the same name. Snowboarders and skiers will have the time of their lives here. We know Copper Mountain is well-known for snowboarding and skiing, but the surrounding mountains provide extensive entertainment that also includes skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, dog sledding, and snowmobiling. Nevertheless, if you visit during the summer, you'll have endless activities waiting for you such as great hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and golfing. Tip for checking in - follow the process outlined for you... it became a little scavenger hunt for the whole family. Find the building, the box, get the key, find the building to stay in, open the doors, find the room! It was actually fun.

This property is in a great location for Center Village activities. Underground parking is a plus. The unit was not as clean as we would have liked (dining table was filthy, there was trash under the sofa). Linens did not include washcloths - had we known we would have brought some. The TV was a big issue - when it worked, it only received one station. We were promised that local VaCasa staff would contact us about the issue, but no one did.

Location Location Location

Easy walk to the ski slope. Ski rental company in the building. The place was clean but showing its age. Unfortunately the heating system for our unit was off when we checked in. After a cold night the local staff provided 2 space heaters. A maintenance guy came on day 2 to replace the thermostat. This did not fix the problem. We relied on the space heaters for the rest of our short 3 night stay.

Working from copper

The property is comfortable and in a great location. I was terribly disappointed with the property manager. The fitness center and hot tub were out of commission and no one communicated this was unavailable. I called, emailed and went to the Vacasa office. I got one message from the customer inquiry line asking if I had paid the utility bill for the hot tub. Vacasa customer service was terrible. I paid $140 for use of another gym and hot tub in the area. I feel taken advantage of by this property, as it did not provide the services advertised.

Great location, comfortable room

Taylor's Crossing is fantastic: right in the middle of Center Village, steps from anywhere on the mountain via the American Flyer/Eagle lifts, comfortable room and great hot tub! The room is mostly as-advertised, and we only had a couple of minor inconveniences: no dishwasher detergent and no oven mitts. Not a big deal, but an easily-correctable small thing for the property manager. Vacasa manages the property and communicates well, but for a first-timer with questions on the check-in/check-out process it was hard to get a clear answer in the moment of need. Their texting service is responsive but hard to use if you're driving around Copper looking for a place to park to get your key. Those minor inconveniences notwithstanding, this was the perfect place for me and my two boys (12 and 10). We would definitely recommend the property and stay here again.

great location

This condo is as pictured - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, small living room and dining area with seating for 6-8 (8 if you squeeze in). The location in Center Village, only a short walk to the eagle and flyer chair lifts, was great. We could come in for lunch easily and head back out for the afternoon. The included parking spot and ski locker were really convenient. The other reviewers' complaints about the proximity to the hot tub are legit. While the hot tub is supposed to be closed after 10 pm, 2 out of our 3 nights there were groups of people who were out there and were loud after 10. The kitchen was decently stocked with pots, pans, kitchen tools, etc. but there were no pantry staples other than coffee filters (it's a drip machine) and salt and pepper shakers. The fitness room in this building was pretty sad - a single treadmill, an old school stair stepper, and a recumbent bike that didn't work. Overall, for us the location was most important and we really enjoyed how close this condo was to the slopes.

Cute Condo, Not great check-in

The condo was great. Exactly as described. However, the check-in process was a mess. The text messages I received with instructions were incomplete and it took us about 45 minutes to finally get into the condo. You can only communicate with the property management via text. They did not know how to get into the parking garage or where it was located. You have to pick up your key cards from a lock box on the other side of the property before getting into the garage or condo. It is quite a process, especially if you don't know where anything is. The address in the instructions takes you to the parking garage. You must get your key cards on the other side of the property before heading to the garage.

Great stay at Copper

Overall we absolutely loved our stay at this property! Great location. Loved being on the first floor. So easy to get to slopes, shops, restaurants! The beds were comfy. Had most of the things we needed or could get easily. Things that could use improvement: when communicating with Vacasa to know what kind of coffee to buy while we were at Safeway in Frisco, they told me k-cups. When we arrived, it was a regular coffee maker. Luckily McCoy’s a small grocery steps away had the coffee (and so many other things you need for your stay) we needed. The place overall was very clean except the carpets are probably at the replacing stage. They also had fans running down the hallway for almost the entire stay and the smell was not great in hall with the ski locker room door open frequently. The “fitness center” is 3 cardio machines. No weights. I wouldn’t really qualify that as a fitness center. They do have a hot tub that is popular as well as a sauna and steam room which is a bonus. I did not use these but some family members did. Separate towels for hot tub and regular bathroom use would be nice but we managed. They did bring us new towels halfway through our stay which was nice. Finding the place was not super intuitive but we had help from people as soon as we got on property. Keys at the Vacasa office and then the property is a drive and you park in a covered parking garage. That was easy everytime except when we first got there we couldn’t find a place in the green Taylor’s Crossing area. But we were able to get one shortly after that and never had an issue again. Other people have mentioned hot tub being outside master window being a problem. We had zero problem with this and never heard anyone except some music once during the day. Not an issue at all and the hot tub was frequently used (could look out and see). There are hair dryers, hand soap, small dove bar soaps, shampoo, conditioner. Kleenex available in one of the bedrooms. Regular coffee maker, pots and pans, electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishes, and utensils. Laundry is on second and fourth floor. They left some laundry detergent in the room (also someone left some in the laundry room). Machines are pay. Takes coins or easy to pay on your phone. Extra pillows and comfy blankets. I love details about places so I hope this was helpful to others. We would 100% stay here again. It was a wonderful lovely time and we had so much fun!

Fun time at Copper Mountain

My family visited Copper Mountain in June 2022. This unit is centrally located in the Copper Mountain community in the Taylors Crossing building and provided easy access to all of the summer activities. The climbing wall and zipline are right outside the front entrance and the other activities (alpine coaster, go karts, chair lift) are all a short walk away. The unit was clean and provided more than enough space for two adults and three kids (ages 9, 10, 11). We would definitely stay here again when visiting Copper Mountain.

We had a nice stay for a few days of skiing. Downside was hot tub is right outside the master bedroom and not everyone was following the hours so there was talking for later into the nights. Everything else was great - location, cleanliness, as advertised. Also, the directions to the unit could have been better as our GPS got us close but not to the parking garage.
