Green Croft - garden cottage in Coniston village
Perfectly situated minutes from Coniston village centre is the delightfully charming Green Croft. Refurbished to a very high standard, this beautiful family home offers all who visit a stylish, yet functional base to rest their heads. Real care and attention to detail is apparent throughout the cottage which culminates in a real 'home from home' feel.
For lovers of all things 'outdoor' a myriad of footpaths and cycle ways can be accessed easily from the front door and for those who enjoy a much gentler pace the delights of Coniston village are all within walking distance too!
In essence this comfortable home is a must for couples, families, friends and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Ground Floor
From the front door, the bright and welcoming entrance hall offers ample space for boots, rucksacks and personal belongings.
The first room off the hall is the equally welcoming sitting room where Lake District prints & local guide books adorn the walls. This room benefits from comfortable seating, TV, DVD and impressive wood burning stove. The perfect place to curl up during those cooler winter evenings. There's a generous bay window which allows sunlight to pour into the room, and offers guests views towards the rolling hills of Grizedale forest.
The kitchen complete with dining area is a sleek and modern room which enjoys views across the rear garden and towards the impressive Yewdale Crags. A comfortable space for families and friends to gather, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and DAB radio.
The ground floor also benefits from an ample shower room & W.C. Situated next the side entrance the shower room is perfectly positioned to help clean up after muddy adventures and wet walks.

Adjacent to the garage is a lawned garden and slate chipped area complete with garden furniture.

We can offer free use of a 1 acre enclosed field in Coniston village, perfect for off the lead running, walking, training and playing. Use by arrangement only. Please contact the office for availability.
