Home Three Colors is a one-bedroom apartment located in the heart of Como's historic center, just a few steps from Piazza Volta, the hub of Como's nightlife, in an area rich in bars and shops, offering a modern and vibrant environment in the city center.

Home Three Colors features a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a living area with a practical sofa bed and a super modern open-plan kitchen, equipped with all the necessary appliances to prepare your favorite meals. The apartment is equipped with a TV and free Wi-Fi connection. The marble bathroom is complete with a shower. It can accommodate up to 3 people, but is more suitable for a couple, possibly with children.

GETTING AROUND

In the city and surrounding towns, ASF bus services are available; tickets can be purchased on the bus (cash only) or at other authorized points (the bus station in Piazza Matteotti in Como, bars, and tobacco shops). Taxi services are also available.

From the pier, ferries reach various locations on the lake. Tickets can also be purchased online on the Navigazione Laghi website.

From Como San Giovanni railway station, you can regularly reach Milan Central Station and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno), while from Como Nord Lago station you can reach Milan Cadorna railway station.

The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. Shuttle services to and from the airports can be easily arranged at an additional cost. TIPS

We recommend dedicating a day to visiting the wonderful towns around the lake. When moving around and walking along Lake Como, it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes. There are many public drinking water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless otherwise indicated. Tap water is also drinkable. You can bring your reusable bottle with you! If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and still want to enjoy the mountain views, the Lake Como Greenway is an easy-to-follow trail that connects the lake towns from Colonno to Griante and does not require too many climbs. A bus will take you to the starting point in Colonno. Look for traditional restaurants to taste local dishes, such as those based on Lake Como fish. In Italy, many shops (especially small ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so make sure to plan your purchases accordingly. Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. However, for those who want to swim in the water, there are some options. In Como, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but swimming in the lake is strongly discouraged and mostly prohibited. There are beaches in other locations along the lake shores. A beautiful beach is located in Careno, but it could be crowded on weekends. Residents and visitors also love to go to Nesso, where the bravest swimmers can dive into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall. The Lido di Bellagio and the beach of San Giovanni await those who want to explore the beautiful town of Bellagio, located in the center of the two branches of the lake. Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding Prealps may not seem very high, but the climate is still influenced by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change rapidly. Pay particular attention to weather conditions during hikes and bring warm and waterproof clothing!
