Spacious 1BR - Great Location @ Grandview & OSU!

Hello travelers! Enjoy the character of this 1st floor apartment, located one block from the intersection of 5th Ave. and Northwest Blvd. Reserved off-street parking for 2 vehicles (stacked in a driveway).

*The shower is a tight fit for anyone over 6 feet tall
*There is an additional queen bed in the living room (no door to this room).

This is a first floor apartment in a 2-unit building. The apartment has private exterior entrances and a dedicated HVAC system - no shared spaces with the upstairs apartment (except for the back yard). The upstairs neighbor is very quiet.

Arrival: you’ll enter through the back door of the apartment into the kitchen. There is a digital keypad lock on the door for you to let yourself in, and an exterior motion light to help you find your way if you arrive late at night. We’ll send you the combination on your arrival day.

Bedroom: One queen bed.

Front Living Room: One additional queen bed, plus a couch that can sleep 1. Note: this was previously a fold-down futon in the front room, but we have switched it for a queen bed because guests had too much trouble folding it down!

The TV is a Roku Smart TV that you can use to sign into your own Netflix or streaming accounts. We do not have cable - just a digital TV tuner that gets the local channels (ABC, NBC, Fox, etc.)

Sleeping options: one queen bed in the bedroom, one queen bed in the front living room, one queen air mattress, and one comfy couch.

Bathroom: Smaller in size, but also fully renovated and clean! We provide towels, shampoo, and other essentials. Please note: the bathroom has a stand-up shower, and there is not much head room. It would be a tight fit for anyone over 6 feet tall!

Dining room: Large dining table with seating and place settings for 6. Some games and poker chips are available for your use inside the built-in cabinet.

Kitchen: Fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. Coffee and tea are provided for you to use, free of charge. We have tried to think of everything you might need!

Laundry: For guests staying 7 nights or more, we can arrange for access to the laundry area in the basement.

You’ll have access to the entire apartment, and if you’re staying 7 nights or longer, we can arrange for access to the basement for you to do laundry.

Two parking spots are included next to the garage, outside on a concrete driveway. The parking spots are stacked, meaning the second car will need to block in the first car. Additional free parking is available on the street in front of the building.

We’re long time residents of Columbus and we’ll gladly give you recommendations on things to do and places to go! Chris lives in the upstairs apartment and Nat lives just a few minutes away in the Victorian Village neighborhood. We’ll do our best to help if you need anything during your stay.

The Grandview neighborhood in central Columbus is home to many young working professionals, families, and recent graduates. The area is known for its great restaurants, fun and unique stores, and vintage furniture and antique shops.

Get to downtown, the nightlife in the Short North, Express Live, the Convention Center, or Nationwide Arena in 5-10 minutes with a $7-10 Uber or Lyft fare!

This is a shared building with upstairs tenants, so we ask our guests to be quiet and respectful at all times (no loud music, TV volume, etc.). No smoking - if you must, we ask that you use the concrete area in front of the garage.

The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.

*Special note about air quality* Our upstairs tenant has a cat (in another part of this building). We have been hosting for a while, and we've found that maybe 1 in 100 guests have noticed a cat smell. Most people (including us) can't smell anything - but - if you are very sensitive to smells or you have cat allergies, we do NOT recommend booking our place. We do provide an air purifier in the bedroom to help keep the air as clean as possible!
