Everything was good other than the middle room upstairs had a lot of baby spiders like allllooott that we never slept in that room and slep in couch downstairs which was surprisingly comfortable and the door knob came off on the front door when trying to leave one daybut no other issues

Very Disappointing

The inside of the house itself was very cute and clean. However, the description of where it was located was not accurate. This house did not seem to be in a safe location for tourists or people unfamiliar with the area. It was uninviting and upon arrival, several neighbors were involved in verbal and physical altercations on neighboring properties. We did not feel comfortable staying at this location over night so we got a hotel instead. Very disappointing.

Nice Place

Very nice and clean inside. The neighborhood was not the best but not too bad. Signs in the house made it a little less homey, but not a big deal. The door was a bit hard to push open but not complicated to operate. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Tried to give it a fair chance.

Before arriving I was told the same day that there would be people there working on the ceilings. My family and I arrive and the ceiling people were almost done, the house on the first day had a smell to it, but we all just assumed it was probably from the hole patching the workers did, they also left a huge hole in the ceiling in the main bathroom that constantly had debris falling from it, which I notified the host about, she offered to patch it, but I declined due to the fact that my family and I did not want any extra commotion on our trip. The house is located in a really REALLY shady area, and because of that we had a male friend stay with us, since it was a girls trip, we did feel unsafe there. In the description it says that an extra guest fee is $20. I am now being charged $150. The kitchen had a lot of ants, so I wouldn’t leave food out, and I’d make sure to empty the trash often. Also do not lock the bottom lock, my friends and I got locked out of the house from doing so, and we had to contact the host to open the door for us, which she did with no problem and we really appreciated her for that. I wouldn’t recommend this space for a family with children, due to the area for one, and for two it’s rather small. I read the one review before staying here, but I thought I’d give it a chance anyway, and overall it was not enjoyable for me or my family, we would not stay again or recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunate Evening

Ill keep it short and simple, our daughters had Nike Cup soccer tournament games all weekend, it was wet and cold. Saturday evening we washed their uniforms for 8AM games. We were extremely tired fell a sleep a little bit early. Around 2am when we went to transfer the washed clothing to the dryer we were VERY SUPRISED AND UPSET that the dryer was not working. I immediately messaged the owner in hopes of direction thinking maybe i was doing something wrong. She responded immediately with "well i cant get someone there to repair it by 8am"..... Like NO Duh!!! I didn't ask if someone could come repair the broken dryer at 3AM on a Sunday. I asked if i might have been doing anything wrong preventing it from operating. So the solution was to go dry our kids uniforms at a laundry mat in a pretty rough area in Columbus at 4am. It was VERY INCONVENIENT to have to do that. On top of the dryer not working, both upstairs bedrooms TVS also didn't work. We reset them, un plugged them did multiple attempts, they're also not working. The furniture throughout the whole house was VERY uncomfortable and VERY SMALL. The photos on VRBO description makes it look much nicer than reality. The very small futon and chair in the living room were uncomfortable and unacceptable for more then 3 people. The chair barley fit a 12 year old girl. Very small kitchen table setup is ok for children. There were ants all over the kitchen and dining room as well as a unusable backyard that recently had work.
