Enjoy our centrally-located space within a quiet neighborhood surrounded by mature trees for shade and privacy. Built in 1903, this space features an updated kitchen, updated shower/tub and newly refinished hardwood flooring, new paint throughout, and new turf in the backyard. Drive 10 minutes downtown to explore craft breweries, local coffee shops, parks, museums, boutiques, and fine or casual dining. Or stay inside, kick back, relax, and enjoy the modern miracle that is WiFi.

This lot is zoned multi-family, yet the property is surrounded by townhomes, one apartment complex, and single-family homes across the street. Within walking distance, the Safeway shopping center features:

-Metric Brewing: Serving an ever-revolving selection of craft beers on tap, this local brewery hosts a different food truck every night! Visit on Tuesdays for Trivia Night!
-Papa Murphy's: Pro-tip: $10 Tuesdays will get you a Large Take-N-Bake pizza.
-Laundry Time: Both a dry cleaners and a laundromat, this is your best option for clean laundry. While technically within walking distance, you likely wouldn't want to carry a bag of dirty laundry that far, much less air it about.

Five, off-street parking spaces are available for your use. Do not park in front of the fire hydrant.

The host was very responsive and helpful. The upstairs unit was great for my daughter and son-in-law and we got to spent time with the grandchildren. The house was centrally located and easy to get to where we wanted to go.

The house (both levels) accommodated my adult family of 7 well. Nice to have a kitchen table that we could all sit at together for meals and games.Location was central to all things Colorado Springs. Communication with the owner/manager was prompt and attentive. Small details in the home were perfect for anticipating needs. Example - ample space to hang bathroom towels, place luggage, charge electronics, etc. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies for a four day or more stay. We brought a Doberman with us and he had room to run in the backyard and we went on several walks/runs where we felt safe. Would recommend.

Great space set in a stunning backdrop.

We had a range of guests from 4-75 with rooms in the lower and upper unit able to fit comfortably. We were told I’ll booking that it’s actually two separate units (a main level with spacious kitchen/buffet, dining and seating area, room with a pull out couch/gaming, king with en suite, and full with bunk bed rooms.the backyard was beautiful and had a grill with ample propane. The upstairs unit had a small kitchen/living room with pull out couch and queen or king bed.

Comfortable rental

Everything was great. The two unit rental with separate entrances was just what our family was looking for. The mattress in the downstairs primary bedroom was very comfortable. We did not use the downstairs bedroom/tv room with pull out sofa bed. Something to be noted, there is not really a formal living room downstairs. There is one open room with kitchen and counter with stools, dining table and couch. This main room does not have tv but all the bedrooms have TVs. Wasn’t an issue for us but thought I’d explain. All in all a comfortable rental.

Home away from Home

My boyfriend and I brought our huge family (10 total). We loved the options of the sleeping arrangements. Our adult children loved being able to have their own part of the house to themselves. The photos of the home cannot embody the perfect feeling of home when you walk in the doors. The games were a great option for rainy days, but honestly I think the grill and hammock was the highlight of the rainy days still. The host was amazing and offered so many activities! We fell in love with Colorado and plan to return (hopefully for good)!

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and well stocked with kitchen items to cook with , we always cook a lot , the back yard was very nice . Close to everything we needed. Lots of things to do in the area . Host always answered our questions very promptly and we would come back.

Family trip

This property was so cute!! They had all the items you needed, shampoo, conditioner, garbage bags, dish detergent (for dishwasher too), laundry soap. Snacks and water were left by the host for us too!! They space was great for my daughter and her family downstairs and I took the upstairs apartment. (Which was quite big for just me!) The upstairs had 2 portable air conditioner units that kept the upstairs nice and cool. All the beds were comfy. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Close to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and the cutest park with a splash pad for the 5 & 10 year olds. Thank you for allowing us to share your home!!
