This cozy house was absolutely perfect for our first family trip to Colorado (2 adults, 5 teens/young adults). The host was very responsive with any questions we had, and we were delighted by all the beautiful Christmas decorations! We had everything we needed and appreciated the extra amenities provided. The balcony view was spectacular! We loved being so close (within walking distance) to the shopping district, restaurants, Manitou Incline, Cog Railway to Pike’s Peak, and Miramont Castle. The Iron Springs Chateau dinner theatre was right across the street! We also took an Uber to spend a day at Garden of the Gods. The house was everything we imagined and more!
House was beautifully decorated for the holidays!
Kitchen had everything we needed!
Dining table fit our family of 7 comfortably.

The house was beautiful. We really enjoyed that it was a historic home that was updated, clean and clearly loved. The location was great. We first thought that the parking, with the barricades, would be an inconvenience but it wasn’t at all. We very much appreciated have easy parking onsite after especially after experiencing the crazy parking in downtown Manitou Springs. We ended up walking to town and found it quick and easy. Definitely recommend visiting in October so you can experience the beauty of the leaves and all of the Halloween decorations. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was as smooth as silk. Jean was an excellent communicator, and the house had everything we needed. Very close to the incline and cog rail. Traffic may bother you if you are looking for super quiet place.

Location Location Location

Jean’s place was as described and more. It’s perfect for our family getaway with 2 9 year olds and my 70 year mother. The house was clean, comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Everything felt like it was within 20 minutes from the house - downtown Manitou was within walking distance, Garden of the Gods, Flying W Ranch- all super close. We absolutely plan on coming back here again!

This house has historic charm and is conveniently located to Pike's Peak railway. Beds were comfortable and we liked the upstairs living room. Ample parking for larger groups. We had 5 people sleep there comfortable. So it's historic, clean, with lots of living area. Also really good communication from Jean the Host.

Quick stop after high altitude visit!

We stayed here after a few days in Breckenridge on our family vacation away from the Midwest heat. It was absolutely perfect. The house is so neat and really felt like we were staying in a piece of history. The house was spotless and the beds were all exceedingly comfortable. Check in and check out were completely pain free and straightforward. It was so great being right across the street from the cog railway station and just a couple blocks from the Barr trailhead. Would 100% stay again!

Great location if climbing Pikes Peak

Location was perfect for an early morning start to climbing Pikes Peak. The home was very clean with plenty of space to spread out. My favorite spot was the front porch for reading and coffee before the days got started. The kids favorite spot was the hot tub.

Historic, Charming, and Updated!

We had four adult family members, a three-year-old, and a five-year-old stay for a weekend. We wish we could have stayed longer. The property is charming and historic, but it has all the modern amenities and is very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is ideal. We really appreciated the dedicated parking. The house was spotless! We hope to come back for a longer stay. Great area to explore. So much to do! Thank you for sharing your property with us. Perfect Location and Gorgeous Home!

Fun week in Manitou, walkable to downtown as well as incline. Home has a good layout for separation as well as as big family dinners. Hot tub was great bonus and front covered porch was perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.

Amazing house

Amazing house for our family. Host was easy to work with and kept it very simple. House had perfect space for all of us and had a gorgeous view. Easy to walk to downtown and sights. Lovely house and lovely town.

Wonderful!!!

We stayed here and it was the best location for doing the manitou incline or hiking or just feeling close to everything, but still a quiet get away!! The house was really clean and spacious! Would stay here again!
