Where do I start the lodge was immaculate and was exactly what I was after, it was perfect had everything you could need/think of, the host was lovely and really helpful upon arrival and the location was quiet and beautiful with the surrounding lakes and the landscapes can not recommend enough and more than worth the money will 100 percent be staying with them again.

This lodge exceeded our expectations in size and amenities.

This lodge exceeded our expectations in size and amenities. The main bedroom had an ensuite, dressing table area and a walk in wardrobe, the second bedroom was a very spacious twin with large wardrobe and the bathroom was lovely and spacious. The main area was an open planned kitchen and living area with well stocked amenities and comfortable furnishings. The lodge also had its own parking space.

Having stayed in Wordsworth lodges in other locations I was a little disappointed with this particular lodge. Windows and decking had not been cleaned recently, no king size bed due to the lodge design which was very different to other sites I have stayed at, shower temperature not constant and TV signal very poor.Personally I didn't find the sofa and chairs particularly comfortable but that's probably just me.

4 night stay.

Stayed for four nights, nice site very quiet and peaceful with a small bar restaurant and shop. The cabin was great very big and spacious and everything you’ll need for your stay. The small bar was good we didn’t eat there so can’t comment but the meals looked good. Was very busy on the Saturday couldn’t get a table but I’d rather see it busy than dead. Would definitely return

A great place to stay

A great place to stay and a fantastic location for us , as it was very quiet and secluded. Checking out at 10am on departure day was not ideal , 12 noon would have been better. Booking through VRBO was a big mistake as they listed the lodge as having a Hot Tub , when in fact it didn’t have and the reception here could only apologise , as there was nothing they could do to help , because all the lodges were fully booked.

We booked through VRBO who falsely advertised that this booking would include a hot tub. The staff at the site were very helpful but just be careful as your not buying what’s actually advertised

We had to ring reception due to the lodge not being cleaned properly as there was fur and paw marks on the walls. Id like to think that pet lodges should be strictly for pets and others kept pet free.We also had a problem with the dishwasher butthey was quickly round to assist us and gave us a complimentary bottle of fizz and coukdnt appologise anymore.

Do not book with Vrbo. They advertise this chalet and having a hot tub but the chalet you will receive will not have one. Only premier chalets on this site have hot tubs and when booking you are not given the option to choose a premier chalet. They are scammers and they know what they are doing which is why we got a full refund when we called and complained. The staff are helpful even though were very frustrated with the situation they did help us resolve it. The chalet itself is lovely and modern. With all the amenities you could need. The onsite bar is lovely. The spa was closed during our stay but we had the most amazing massages by Clare. But if ypu want to stay here BOOK THROUGH HOSEASONS. DO NOT USE VRBO!!!
