There are several sandy beaches locally, including Broadhaven beach (40 minutes drive), Tenby (30 minutes), Saundersfoot (25 minutes) and the nearest beach, Amroth (20 minutes), so Ty Twt is ideal for both the coast or uncovering the countryside. Walkers and mountain bikers alike are also catered for, with Canaston Woods close by with lots of scenic trails to enjoy. There’s even a bike rack to store your bikes.

Travelling south, discover the picture postcard walled town of Tenby, where you can explore the cobbled streets, the many galleries or build sandcastles with your children on the magnificent South Beach. Further around this sublime coastline is the harbour town of Saundersfoot, where you can enjoy fish and chips on the harbour wall while looking out towards Worms Head and the Gower Peninsula.
