Welcome to The Carolina Haven at Arbor Cove! Enjoy beautiful serene Carolina days in our spacious, family-friendly lakefront home. Five bedrooms including a large bunkroom with SIX individual full beds. Fully equipped kitchen, screen porch, private deck off primary bedroom, basement bar & rec room. Situated on flat lot with mature trees that border the shoreline providing shade & privacy. No thru traffic on the lake providing the perfect opportunity to float, kayak & relax.

This home provides a beautiful open floor plan with plenty of space for your family and friends to spread out. On the main floor you will find a large family room with double doors opening to a spacious screen porch. Here spend time rocking in the hanging egg chair and listen to the birds sing.

When it's time to eat, take your pick of one of the two dining areas, large kitchen island, basement bar or outdoor table. Sip your morning coffee in the breakfast room or enjoy your evening glass of wine resting on the outdoor sectional.

In the primary bedroom, retreat to your canopy king bed and personal spa like bathroom. In the morning, don't forget to step outside onto your private balcony to lounge while watching the sun rise over the cove.

Our favorite and most unique room in the house is the custom designed bunk room built by local craftsman Jon Kelly of Carolina Reclaimed. Each bed is full sized with a personal light and usb port for charging those devices. Adjacent to the bunkroom, you'll find a cozy den separate from the main basement rec room. Here is the perfect spot to sink into those leather bean bag chairs and watch your favorite movie. If action is more your style, get spinning at the foosball table or play board games on the oversized ottoman.

Outside you will find a large acre sized lot with room to play or relax on the hammock under the trees. The large fire pit area will become a nightly favorite as your group gathers around making smores and winding down from your day on the lake.

We are happy to provide recommendation for boat rentals on Lake Wylie. If you plan to bring your own boat, please keep in mind that the water level at the dock can fluctuate and can be somewhat shallow at times. We recommend a Pontoon or Tritoon boat for our location.

We do not allow any parties or gatherings, unless previously discussed and cleared with us in writing.

Loved the lake house!

This house was clean and just as advertised. It was perfect for 3 generations to get together. We did a lot of our own cooking and found the kitchen well stocked with dishware and cookware. All appliances worked well. Furniture was comfortable indoors and out (first vacay rental we have found with recliners!). The paddle boards, kayaks and large raft got a good workout, and because the water was calm and shallow in front of the house, it was safe for the five grandkids to enjoy. Only one thing to be aware of: we rented a boat the last day and found it was too shallow to bring it clear to the dock. Not a problem, we ferried people to the boat with the raft, but it would not have worked if we had intended to keep the boat overnight. All in all, highly recommended...we had an amazing time!

This house was amazing!!!!

We had the best time!!! We were in town for my sons wedding and the house was the perfect spot for us. There was plenty of room for all of us and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. I would love to go back in the summer and spend some time on the lake. The house had everything we needed, well stocked and included special touches like candy on the pillows. My grandchildren loved that. The home was absolutely spotless. Sarah responded quickly when I had questions.

Beautiful, well stocked home!

The house was just perfect for our NYE stay (3 couples, 6 kids, 2 toddlers). We had everything we could have needed to be entertained at our finger tips, from indoor/outdoor games, to kitchen and bar utensils, multiple coffee stations, comfortable beds, lots of towels etc. 
 even high chairs and a gate for the stairs! The owners were also very communicative and when we ran into a heating issue they had a repair person at the house within 2 hours of me mentioning it to them. Overall highly recommended and we will definitely return!

Incredible Home

I absolutely loved this house. The surrounding property is beautiful. The porches are very inviting. The rooms and both rooms are spacious. The living room and kitchen are open concept so it was great being able to communicate with everyone while cooking. The amenities are perfect for a house this size. The host graciously provided soap, dish soap, hair products and trash bags for us. Greatly appreciated. We would absolutely recommend this house for a large family the kids custom made bunk bed room was amazing! The kids loved it. All very very clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. About 20 min from all kinds of stores and highways. I highly recommend it.

Stunning Home on the Lake

The home is better than pictured! So much space to hang out & enjoy indoors & out. Gorgeous decor & furnishings! The screened in patio was amazing to enjoy the evenings without pests! The fan kept it nice & cool. We all enjoyed kayaking, SUPs and just floating in the warm lake. Plenty of lifejackets in all sizes (nice and new & clean). It was nice to have the beach towels at the door. The sheets were so soft and the beds were very comfy! We rented a pontoon nearby for some tubing, and had a blast at nearby Whitewater Center and Southtown Wake Park. We explored Charlotte. The FunnyBus was a great way to see the city! Beautiful property, inside and out; responsive and gracious owners; central to lots of other things to do. A few things to note... 2 bedrooms upstairs have ensuite bathrooms, plus 1half bath upstairs. The AMAZING 6 bunk bed room & the 2 queen rooms downstairs all share 1 full bath (and another half)... this was not easy for the 10 people to negotiate during shower/ bath time, but we managed. Some AC issues upon arrival but the owners worked as quickly as they could to get it resolved (I do wish that I had a phone number to call or text in that circumstance, rather than use the app which had a delay). Note that the lake is VERY shallow at the dock... you must step in and float/ swim/ boat out to deeper waters to swim or jump... the floating mat worked great for the kids to play and jump off when we pulled it to deeper waters. Overall, a great stay!!

Beautiful home and amenities

This vacation home was absolutely gorgeous. The owners were exceptionally responsive when we had minor home issues pop up but nothing out of the ordinary. We loved using their splash pad on the water, kayaks and paddle boards. Our kids loved the bunk bed room. Would definitely recommend this place for others. Had a wonderful vacation.

Lake Wylie Vacations

Beautiful home with comfortable beds, best bunk room ever! The home was large enough to comfortably accommodate 14 people. Property is level and lake views great. We rented a pontoon boat for the week. The boat is needed to enjoy the lake. The water level is to low to swim or jump off the dock. Overall this is a fantastic home.

One of the best Vrbo experiences ever!

There isn’t enough room here to write about all the wonderful things about this house and experience! We will definitely be back. Every single detail was well thought out - from the welcome/congrats note and wine for my upcoming nuptials to the toiletry kits left on our bed. I rented this house with a bunch of my girlfriends for a girls weekend before I got married. The decor and finishes gave us major house envy the whole weekend. The house is gorgeous with everything you would want or need. Sarah and Miguel were super quick to reply to any questions we had. There is not one thing you will want to change about this house or your stay!

Fantastic Vacation House

The pictures do not do justice to the house. The rooms are much larger than portrayed. The Master suite is unbelievable and the regular size bunk beds was much appreciated by the children/teens. There was so much to do from kayaking, swimming, to indoor and outdoor activities. Our stay was a full week and we definitely would stay here again.

Luxurious Retreat close to Charlotte, NC

If you're looking for an elegant, upscale relaxing home, book this property. This is a well built home with stunning architecture. The interior design, furniture, colors all lend to a visually pleasing and a relaxing atmosphere. Beyond that, the functionality is great for large groups, with plenty of rooms to all be together. But also plenty of space to have some alone time. The entire house was well stocked - plenty of throw blankets throughout the home; kitchen had everything you'd need; garage had life jackets, kayaks, SUP, fishing equipment; there were even board games to play. The hosts were quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to the area.
