This property is run-down and in need of repairs. Parking is difficult. Placement of the beds in the second room makes it impossible to close the door. And the bathroom door doesn’t close completely. That being said, the location is good, check in and communicate were handled well, and the apartment was clean.

Lovely Lakewood

My family and I stayed here for two nights and was great. The host was super easy to communicate with and friendly. The space was clean, but a little, used. Broken bathroom door, broken closet door, some of the DIY showing wear and tear. We were in town for a college visit and to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and it was in a perfect spot for both. There were a lot of things that have been mentioned before like the noise level and restaurant smell that really weren't that bad. Maybe some Glade Plug in's would help. Also, attention to small things like making sure the soap dispenser has enough soap and that there is plenty of extra TP. Some of the decorative pillows are feather so be aware of that if you have any allergies. Overall we had a great time and it was perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.

Went to show at The Roxy, this is a cute area with a lot of shops and food. The place is easy to find/access and it was clean and spacious. If we ever go back up for a show, we will stay here!

The worst vrbo!

This apartment is the worst vrbo I have ever stayed in. Very cheap and happy and a loud, smell bar below that comes through to the unit. Was not able to stay it was so bad. Mis-represented in the ad.

Perfect place for late nights & calm morning.

I really enjoyed this space, it’s in a really lively neighborhood, so many friendly people having a good time right downstairs. The property was clean and matched the photos. The communication with the property manager was perfect! Our Ubers were driving just past it and the manager helped us find it! Perfect place for late nights & calm morning.

Poor Cleanliness, Misleading post.

Upon arrival, it is very had to locate the unit as there are no pictures & only tells you street parking. The unit looked as if it has never been cleaned or wiped down, recent stains on rugs and blankets, a weird odor on the couch. We found eyelashes in the bed sheets & neither of us wear eyelashes. We also found chewed up gum left on the ironing board. Half of the lights in the bathroom do not work, despite the note left to reset the lights. The entryway ceiling was also missing. The unit is above a bar, which was fine for me, but there is no mention of this anywhere on VRBO. When addressing these issues with the owner, she stated she doesnt own the building so some of this is not her responsibility. This place should not be posted on VRBO until these issues are addressed.

Priced fairly

Everything was clean and as comfortable as any other rental I’ve stayed in. Several restaurants, shops, and bars are within easy walking distance. The apartment is in a state of mild disrepair though - a few things need a little cosmetic TLC. Parking sucked (I drove around the block several times looking for a place to park and ended up on the opposite side of the main street ). The pin on the listing shows the rental a lot or two off of the main street, but it literally overlooks Madison Ave, which would be nice in warmer weather, considering the balcony. The listing also said “house,” which this definitely is not. Additionally, despite the request, I cannot write an accurate review without mentioning the bar noise from downstairs (regardless of how often it has been mentioned before) which was audible from the time I arrived in the afternoon, mostly in the front room. I wouldn’t omit something good from a review just because people had already mentioned it either. Overall, the price made this worthwhile.

If your bedtime starts at 3:00am.....

The bar directly below plays very loud music until 2:30 am.... every night. Not ambient....LOUD, and thumping. Very dim lighting, dusty, broken bathroom door, kitchen cabinet face missing. Dingy overall.
