Pioneer - Cozy riverside retreat in the mountains

Pioneer is a cozy retreat in the Elk River Valley that is an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway and serves as a base camp for exploring the surrounding national forest and state parks. Cabin highlights include views of mountain peaks from the large central window and easy access to the Elk River (the shortest walk to the river among the cabins at Glen Eden) and the lower Glen. The primary bedroom has a king bed, while the second has two twin beds. Pioneer has a sleeper sofa in the living room. Crack a window in the bedroom and let the sounds of the river lull you to sleep. Private fishing is steps away on site, and recreation activities in the surrounding area are plentiful: hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, gravel cycling, boating, snowmobiling, nordic and backcountry skiing, and snowshoeing.
