Sunset Shores Resort provides an idyllic escape for large groups or families, featuring a private complex of four cabins located directly on Stevenson Lake. With a total of 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, the resort comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests. Each cabin includes two bedrooms and a private bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience. Guests can enjoy lakefront views and on-site swimming, making it an excellent choice for those looking to relax and enjoy time together while having their own space to retreat to at the end of the day.

Air Conditioning: There is not central air but there is a wall unit A/C in each cabin

Beach/Swimming: The resort is located on Stevenson Lake and there is a shared sandy beach front directly in front of cottage.

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fishing License: A license is required in order to fish in Michigan.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.

Parking: 2 cars at each cabin

Pets: Allowed when booking the Resort! Unfortunately, we are not able to have pets when renting each individual cabin. However, we are able to accept your pets when you reserve the Resort.

Privacy: This is a small cottage community with shared beachfront, each cottage has it's own deck, dock, row boat, and firepit

Seniors: Welcome! Everything is on one floor.

Televisions: Each cabin has a 32" Roku TV with streaming capability

Towels: All bath and kitchen towels will be provided during your stay. Please bring beach towels with you!

Washer and Dryer: There is not a washer and dryer on site, but Hometown Laundry of Clare is 7.3 miles away

Wood: Not provided. Please bring a bundle or two for the firepit
