Why stay in a hotel or apartment when you can have a standalone house for less? Located in lovely and sought after Hyde Park, this home has a private, fenced in backyard with only forest behind you. Walk to restaurants and parks. This adorable home is perfect for sleep, reflection, remote work and visiting nearby family or local events. 10 minute drive to downtown, universities and hospitals. Rookwood Pavillion shopping with Whole Foods, shops and restaurants is a two minute drive.

The space
We are avid VRBO users and what we appreciate the most in a listing is transparency-so here it is! This little home is all about location and comfort.
It's a a charming 100+ year old home outfitted with older, comfortable, quality furniture and decor. With this charm comes a few quirks! It is a small home (700 square feet) so is best for one or two travelers, or a couple with a child. We provide cozy bedding and towels (hypo allergenic bedding as well as down comforters.) The kitchen is fully stocked with abundant and good quality pots and pans. For coffee there is a drip coffee maker, a pod coffee maker and a one cup (aka a pour over). Hot water kettle also provided. There is a small dishwasher.

NOTE: There are a few cement stairs entering the front and back of the home.
NOTE: The second bedroom has flexible use: it has a brand new queen size Murphy bed with a memory foam mattress. Use as a bedroom or keep the bed folded up to use as a dining room or private office. Or, if you have a small child bring a pack and play and use as a child's room.
NOTE: There is a private driveway for parking but it is narrow. Use at your own risk.
NOTE: There is laundry in the basement and the stairs are steep. Use at your own risk.

There is a charcoal grill for your use.

As the house is abutting the large and wooded Cincinnati Observatory Grounds, you will have occasional deer in the yard and families of bunnies.
