Summary:
You will be at the center of all the action Newport’s business district and the surrounding areas have to offer in this charming 2-bedroom apartment, perfect for a couple’s retreat or an outing with friends.

The Space:
Right across the river from Cincinnati, the city of Newport is a destination in its own right, with bustling streets and plentiful nearby attractions. When you’re not out and about exploring the many local shops and restaurants, this 3rd floor apartment is ideal space to call home with a bright and open living space welcoming you as soon as you step through the front door. But perhaps one of its best features, this apartment is located right on top of the 927 Reserve Bourbon and Cocktail Bar, positioning you just steps away from happy hour or a night cap.

A relaxing living room with cushy sofa seating is a great place to unwind and catch up on the reflections of the day, or for enjoying an immersive movie night on the included smart TV. Although quaint, the kitchen comes well-equipped for your basic cooking needs with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and plenty of cookware and dining ware. A connected counter with barstool seating for 2 is a great place to enjoy a quick breakfast on your way out the door for a day of fun.

This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests in 2 private bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 features a queen size bed, ceiling fan, and armchair with ottoman.

Bedroom #2 includes a full size bed as well as an office chair and desk should you need to catch up on some work.

The full bathroom includes a single vanity and walk-in shower.

Overall helpful for decoration storage and wedding guests for venue next door. Top floor of a three story walkup, so don't rent if you can't climb steep stairs. Didn't have a full size fridge which we needed, only two mini fridges. A/C had to be fixed while we were there. Location was helpful.

Great and Convenient

We needed a place close to both the Creation Museum (about 35mins away) and the Ark Encounter (about 45mins-1hr away). This was great. We did some running around town on an extra day and really enjoyed it, there was plenty of places to check out within walking distance. Inside the building felt very secure and safe. However parking in the ally was, at times, uncomfortable. I felt fine being there with my husband, but probably wouldn't if I had been alone. There were a lot of stairs to climb, so I definitely recommend a tote bag or something of the sort to carry any groceries you may get and such. The apartment was equipped with basic needs, including a mini fridge and a full fridge, a coffee maker, kurig, and microwave. There was also a washer and dryer, but these were communal outside of the room, down a floor.Overall it was a solid stay and I can see myself rebooking.

No Complaints

Property was clean and well maintained. It’s an old building so don’t expect perfection. FYI - there are two steep flights of stairs to climb for this unit. Would stay there again. Bathtub drain was really slow. That’s the only thing I recommend be looked into.

Great location and value

No frills, but great location ... 15 min. walk to the Riverfront Levee and Newport Aquarium ... half hour drive to King's Island ... and 45 min drive to the Ark Encounter. This was convenient and a good value for us with our son & daughter-in-law. Parking and check in were both very easy. Only complaint ... I had trouble with the coffee pot and toaster, and there were only 2 Spoons.

Basic but comfortable

Overall my stay was pleasant. I did not spend much time in the unit since I was in town to visit family. There are a few things that you might want to address. The toaster did not work. The coffee pot filter was missing, the bathroom sink drains slowly. The bed was comfortable, which was very much appreciated. I also appreciated the water filter container. Thank you.
