Beams of natural light in a walkable 2-bdrm condo

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place with beams of natural light and fantastic city views. Steps from Over the Rhine`s entertainment district, you`ll be set back enough that it`s quiet at night but close enough to walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes, and parks. Easy paid garage parking a 4-minute walk away means you can drive in, check-in and walk right to the fun. Spacious open living-kitchen.

The living room and kitchen are on the second floor, while the bedrooms are on the third floor. This unit is in a historic 1860s building that has been brought back for a second life. With lots of south- and west-facing windows it gets loads of bright, natural light.

Easily come and go with smartlock access.

Our neighborhood Over the Rhine is home to Cincinnati`s best and most numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, parks, and even two breweries in walking distance.

We`re walking distance to Music Hall and the spaces where the Opera, Ballet, and Symphony play. If you`re here for the baseball game, Great American ballpark is just over a 1 mile walk (or rather, hop on the Streetcar a few blocks away!).

We`re also one of the country`s largest intact historic neighborhoods, with an absolutely beautiful stock of charming Italianate architecture (including this property!).

Park a 4-minute walk away in Ziegler Garage and walk everywhere from here! It`s easy to get around on foot, biking, walking, on scooters, Uber, etc. We`re also just minutes` walk from a streetcar stop, which will take you on a loop through most of downtown and Over the Rhine.

----------Section 1 - Security Deposits:------------

This property has a security deposit hold collected by us via credit/debit card. It is similar to an incidentals hold that you would pay at a hotel prior to checking in. At our discretion we may waive this deposit hold. We collect this security deposit through your credit card. It is between $300 - $500 (see the listing check-out page for details).

----------Section 2- Important House Rules (and Consequences) ------------

We strive to provide a polite request to come into compliance with our rules in the event of issues. If the request is not honored then your reservation may be terminated without refund, at our discretion.

SAME-DAY RESERVATIONS: If you are placing a reservation for same-day check-in, please contact us first. If you place the reservation without contacting us first then you may be denied entry, at our discretion.

CONSEQUENCES FOR THROWING PARTIES INCLUDES PROSECUTION: Parties and amplified music are strictly forbidden without our advance, written consent. Under Ohio Revised Code and Cincinnati municipal code, throwing an unauthorized party is considered criminal trespassing. See ORC 2911.21. If you throw an unauthorized party, we may choose to press charges for criminal trespass. You and your guests may be arrested on-site and prosecuted to the full extent of the law, at our discretion. Whether behavior constitutes a party is determined at our sole discretion, but would include things like bringing extra guests into the property, people coming in and out, etc.

NOISE AND DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR: Please observe quiet hours from 9:30pm-8am. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) may be given to come into compliance. If the request is not honored then your reservation will be terminated without refund. Amplified music is strictly forbidden at all hours without our advance written consent.

SMOKING AND FLAMES NOT ALLOWED: Do not smoke or light anything in this property. This includes tobacco, marijuana, incense, candles, hookah, and anything else.

VIOLATING OUR RULES MAY RESULT IN RESERVATION TERMINATION: At our discretion, we may terminate your reservation for a violation of our house rules -- no matter the time of day or night. You will not be refunded and may incur additional fees.

DISHONEST OR ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR: Dishonest behavior may result in termination of your reservation without refund, at our discretion. Abusive behavior will result in termination of your reservation without refund: yelling at, screaming at, swearing at, or menacing members of our team is considered abusive behavior.

WE RETAIN COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE PROPERTY: We reserve the right to terminate any reservation for any reason without refund if we believe, at our sole discretion, that you have done anything or intend to do anything that would harm people or property, disturb our neighbors, or harm the reputation of our property. If we have any reason to believe that you intend to throw a party then you will be denied entry.

----------Section 4 - Additional Fees and how to Avoid Them ------------

The following may incur a fee:
1) Cleanup of human biomaterial (e.g. vomit, defecation) will result in a minimum $300 cleaning fee.

2) Pet hair: $300 cleaning fee for cleanup of excessive pet hair, at our discretion. If you have a pet that sheds, bring lint rollers and remove your pet`s hair from the property.

3) Stains on the carpets or linens: $89 cleaning fee per item or cost to replace, whichever is higher.

4) Smoking ANYTHING indoors: $300 cleaning fee. No exceptions. Just don`t do it.

5) There is a $170 re-keying fee for unreturned keys. Unfortunately if you do not return the key then we have no choice but to have a locksmith change the lock.

6) Deep Cleaning: Units found with unreasonable amounts of waste, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to an additional $200 cleaning fee, or actual cost to clean, whichever is higher. Stays longer than 14 days are subject to an additional $120 deep cleaning fee which we will collect through the Airbnb resolution center.

7) Security fees: If we incur security / fire department / police fees or other costs arising out of or in connection with your behavior at the property, then you will be billed the cost. The minimum security fee is $150.

Decent stay. Neighborhood is a bit edgy, but the house is safe. Laundry is in a common area for the building, not the apartment. They didn’t have enough bedding for the pull out, and we paid for an extra guest, so that was not good. House is nicely appointed. Circular stairs make a lot of noise when used. Sneaking anywhere isn’t possible! Was a great location for going to a football game.

The entryway to the building was not clearly marked & was dilapidated,. None of the blinds came down all the way- they were crooked, letting in light from street lights which was a lot. The beds were comfy. There was minimal additions like coffee or spices. Both bedrooms & the only (small) bathroom was on the 3rd floor- pretty inconvenient. The neighborhood was sketchy. We did street parking but also used a nearby garage which had EV Charging . stations.There were some restaurants close by. Findley market was a Close walk It's a great place if UR a college student. Not so good for parentsI'm

We very much enjoyed our stay at Beams of Natural Light. The property had everything we needed, was immaculately clean, and the host was a great communicator. It was in the part of town we wanted to stay in. Though we probably could have parked on the street we chose the parking garage, which was nearby. We’ll stay there again.

Weekend Game stay

In town for FCC game. Located within walking distance to stadium in addition to good food and bars. Very comfortable, nice, and clean accommodation. Communication with owner was very quick and efficient. Would recommend.

Great space, interesting neighborhood

My husband and I stayed at the condo with our two teenagers before moving our oldest in to the University of Cincinnati. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable! Communication with the property owners was great and made for a super easy check in. Arriving at night we were a little concerned about the safety of the neighborhood at first glance but Over The Rhine seems to be an "up and coming" neighborhood with a lot of properties being restored and a great park. There are also lots of restaurant and bar options within just a few minutes walk - close enough to enjoy them, but just far enough away to not be bothered by the noise or foot traffic if that's not the scene you are looking for. . We particularly enjoyed Goodfellas for pizza and Sugar & Spice Diner for breakfast. The condo is within walking distance of so much, but also close to public transportation and the freeway if visiting farther off destinations. We greatly enjoyed our stay!
