Hitchmans Mews - Stunning 2BD in Central Chipping Norton
As you enter the charming Grade II listed building, you will be welcomed by the communal entrance and find our apartment on the first floor. Walking into the home, you will be immediately drawn to the sun-soaked open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring.
This space offers comfortable seating, with a feature fireplace and sash windows, spacious dining area and beautiful kitchen, with all the essentials you need for cooking and sharing a meal together during your stay. Further down the hallway, you`ll see the beautiful, refurbished bathroom and two bedrooms, boasting a double and a king size bed with state-of-the-art brand new mattresses, perfect for a great night`s sleep. The property is a brand new development in a listed building, which was carefully restored at the beginning of 2024 - so everything is brand new.
In terms of location, this property is perfect. The Chipping Norton Theatre and Lido are just a short walk away and there are a plethora of circular local shops, restaurants and walks available on the doorstep.
We would highly recommend the infamous Diddly Squat Farm Shop which is down the road, or popping into nearby Daylesford Organic or Burford Garden Centre.
The iconic celebrity-spotting Soho Farmhouse is 15 minutes away by car or taxi, and the stunning Aynhoe Park, a free to enter Grade I-listed 73-acre landmark estate, is a 20 minute drive away, where you can wander round the estate, grab a coffee and cake, or stop for a woodfire pizza in their gorgeous outdoor terrace and watch the deer being fed.
To truly experience the county`s rich heritage, Blenheim Palace is an essential stop and a favourite among visitors. Wander through the magnificent buildings steeped in unique history, or stroll through the breathtaking gardens that encircle the Palace. With a vibrant calendar of events throughout the year, it`s worth checking what`s on before your visit. Another key heritage site is Chastleton House, a remarkable example of Jacobean architecture completed in 1612.
The nearby villages such as Kingham and Charlbury (do check out The Bull pub/restaurant!) are ones to visit. Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold, are beautiful tourist towns nearby, and Hook Norton and Churchill provide lovely country walks with popular dog friendly pubs for drinks and amazing food.

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, utensils and cooking equipment, with a brand new coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
We provide all bedding and towels, basic toiletries and necessities such as hairdryer, iron and ironing board to ensure a comfortable stay.
Please note - the internet here is provided by a 5G dongle (rather than full fibre home broadband), providing a WiFi connection but streaming may be a little slow.
