Charlbury has lots of local amenities including a Co-op and Post Office which is open until 11 pm every day and has a cash machine. There are 4 pubs in the town and lots of fantastic pubs in the immediate countryside.
Getting around:
Charlbury is on the main train line from London Paddington. There are trains every hour. We are also opposite the bus stop directly from Oxford (s3) and there are local buses to Chipping Norton and to Witney.
Charlbury is 1.5 hrs from London by car and 1 hr 10 mins from Birmingham. We are set in square just 7 miles from Witney, Chipping Norton, Woodstock and Burford. Lots of parking, easy for driving.

The house has high-speed 360 Mbps WiFi, making it perfect for both remote work and relaxing getaways.
Accessible:
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the ground floor, including one with a walk-in shower â ideal for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. The wide hallway, step-free access, and smooth flooring make moving around easy.
Air Conditioning:
We have a portable air-conditioning unit in the house that can be used in any of the bedrooms. We can also arrange for additional portable air conditioner units to be delivered for the duration of your stay for an extra charge.
Family & Pet Friendly:
The garden is fully enclosed â safe for both dogs and children.
