On the ground floor you have a pretty farmhouse kitchen which is fully equipped for you to prepare some favourite family recipes, and a cosy sitting room which offers plenty of comfy seating with a lovely wood burning stove for those chillier evenings. There is a separate dining room and a quaint snug area, both of which have original exposed beamed ceilings. The secluded garden is a genuine haven, featuring both lawn and patio areas, and even a tranquil river flowing along the far edge. With ample outdoor seating, it's a space to be enjoyed throughout the year. Izods Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for one medium sized dog.

The river at the end of the garden is unfenced and so children and pets should be supervised at all times. Additionally, there are steps that lead down from the garden to the riverside itself, which can become slippery when wet
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Izods Cottage has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
