Bienvenue dans notre propre Teague! Anciennement connue sous le nom de "Stormbreak", cette maison en ville est une promenade facile Ă  pied ou Ă  vĂ©lo vers le centre-ville ou le boulevard Maddox. Joliment dĂ©corĂ© avec trois chambres Ă  coucher. Le salon a de nombreux siĂšges, une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat et un lecteur DVD. Un service Internet sans fil est fourni. Le porche fermĂ© avec des fenĂȘtres coulissantes permet Ă  la piĂšce de se dĂ©ployer par tous les temps. Grand abri pour garder un vĂ©hicule et tout votre Ă©quipement sous abri. Une immense cour pour les repas, les jeux et la douche dans la douche extĂ©rieure Tiki.

Liked the vibe, location, layout of the house and the beds. Had a comfortable relaxing feel. Main issue was check in. Front door was jammed and we could not enter upon arrival. Called the management service which was not very helpful. Finally sent out maintenance and he had to forceably push the door to get it to open. I think it was warped and the lower lock was sticky. Told to leave back door unlocked as we could not use the front door during our stay and told neighborhood was “safe.” Somehow they said they could not locate key to lock the backdoor. But this was somewhat uncomfortable for me. Told someone would be by to fix the door but no one ever came.

Just about perfect!

We'd happily stay at A Teague of Our Own again. The things I always consider the most critical -- the mattresses, pillows, kitchen equipment and water pressure -- were all wonderful; no flat pillows here! Each bedroom has a separate minisplit A/C unit so that guests can set their own sleeping temperatures. AAA Linens supplied plenty of comfortable sheets and towels. The immense backyard was fantastic, crowned by a beautiful, shady, blooming crepe myrtle, and we enjoyed grilling outside. The screened-in porch had an array of Adirondack chairs for backyard use, beach chairs and lawn games. The house is located just a few blocks from Main Street restaurants and shops -- an easy walk. My only caution to other guests is that Pension Street is a very busy street, and the house is just a few feet from the curb. The noise from vehicles was not an issue for us, but if you have toddlers or dogs who are runners, you will definitely need to keep an eye out for them, to make sure they don't run out into the street. A stake and long leash would work for a dog in the backyard. Be sure to check out Church Street Produce just a five-minute walk away -- pick up a triple-berry pie and order a tomato pie for pick up the next day.

Super Cute Cottage! Got my 13-year old's approval too!

We loved the cottage! Very spacious, nicely decorated and they weren't kidding about the kitchen being stocked - they even had really nice knives which is super important to me since we cook a lot. The back deck and the grill was also well maintained with a cute herb garden (parsley, basil and rosemary) that came in very handy! I also highly recommend the outdoor shower which was divine. I don't think I showered inside once during our stay... My teenager loved the beachy aesthetic too. Walking distance to bike rental and town, the communication via text messaging was prompt! And they gave us a nice welcome care package with a gift certificate for a local bookstore. So thoughtful. We would definitely come back!

beautiful home and lawn. looks just as pictured. walkable to main street and maddox blvd. kitchen seems fully stocked to cook for all guests even though i only used the coffee maker. i would love to retire one to day to this beautiful island. loved loved loved my relaxing stay

Chincoteague get away

Great location! Loved the house. We were told we would have a bag of essentials, dish soap, paper towels, laundry detergent etc but we didn’t. Contacted management company and they just delivered paper towels. Steep pet fee, for each dog, which is not explained well in the description.

Just bring yourself and a change of clothes!

This vacation property has everything you need and more! Watch the sunrise from the huge back deck, shower outdoors, play croquet in the back yard, read in the all season screened in porch (my fav) or walk to town. The only thing this house needs
 is a name ;)

Good central location w/ wonderful sun porch

Very nice home for adults. Less recommended for children or older folks due to very steep, narrow stairway and no bathroom on the second floor where bedrooms are located. We loved the sun porch and were very appreciative of this pet-friendly rental.

Backyard oasis

The highlight of our visit to Chincoteague was sitting on the back deck of this rental home, sipping coffee in the morning. We brought our dog, and enjoyed everything this home had to offer. Note: while this home is pet friendly, sadly dogs are barred from most community parks as well as the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Our mistake! But this can complicate a local visit with your pets.

A cute eclectic beach house on the island!

The house is well situated to walk to all the best dining and shopping spots including the Island Creamery and Amerin Coffee House. Keep in mind that the bathrooms are only on the first level, nothing on the second level where you find the three bedrooms. So at night, it’s down the stairs you go. The appliance’s are very dated, but they are clean and working. It’s a very typical older beach house with Chincoteague’s charm.

My family had an amazing time staying at this property. It was very clean, a great location and exactly as described. The sun room was beautiful and we enjoyed having the car port to pull under to load/unload the car for beach days.

Such a sweet little house!

This rental property was excellent! This sweet little house was clean, well stocked, and perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. The owners showed wonderful attention to detail, from the welcome gift bag, to the strategically placed night lights, to the magnetic holders on the doors. We cooked almost every meal for a week and had literally everything we needed. The back yard was large and well kept and our dog and daughters enjoyed hours of play. The house is ideally located with easy access to the Wildlife Refuge, and walking distance to Main Street shops and Maddox Blvd and Island Creamery. There was also a dog park a little over a mile away, which we frequented often to tire out our pup and chat with locals. The management company was great. Check in and check out was fast and seamless. I emailed with a few random questions on a Sunday, and got a response on Monday. We didn’t have any problems with the unit but I got the sense they were very responsive and timely. Overall we had a wonderful week and would recommend this rental to family and friends.

Perfect rental

We loved this family and dog friendly rental. Fully stocked kitchen, lovely welcome package, comfy beds. This was in walking distance to Maddox rd, centrally located. Only issue was that the air conditioners were very loud. Otherwise perfect!
