This brand new open living space was lovingly built with thoughtful details - like the playful transition of hardwood into the hexagon tile, soaring ceilings, and recessed ambient lighting bordering the exposed wood beam.

The Panther Lounge is located in the coveted midtown neighborhood, blocks away from both Bidwell park and downtown Chico. Whether it's nightlife or nature that's calling your name, you can access both with a short stroll up or down the street.

This charming residential neighborhood is composed of tree-lined streets that will lead you straight to cozy coffee shops, cute boutiques, and a variety of restaurants serving up Mexican, pizza, Thai, Chinese, sushi, classic pub fare, and plenty more (including many tasty vegan options). The CSUC campus located on the other side of downtown, just a 15 minute stroll away.

On sunny days, enjoy the concrete swimming pool located at One Mile, or any of the many creek spots, a few blocks south of the penthouse. In addition to swimming, Bidwell Park offers plenty of picnic-perfect grassy areas, scenic walking trails, and a must-visit storybook-themed playground for the kiddos.

Grocery (including a natural food store), pharmacy, and convenience stores are all a quick drive away so you can stock up on any essentials for your trip!

You'll be greeted on the ground floor by a full kitchen, equipped with new stainless appliances and fully stocked with cookware, spices, utensils, and a coffee maker.

Travel up the stairs to the main living space that features a luxe Tuft & Needle King-Sized bed, framed by dual nightstands, a large comfortable sofa, wall mounted 65” flat screen TV, a work/dining area, and ample clothing storage for long-term stays. The bonus sleeping loft is equipped with a cozy queen-sized futon mattress and an inviting pile of pillows that'll urge you to spend an evening relaxing.

Enjoy a sun-soaked morning courtesy of the north-east windows, revel in the golden hour out on the south-west facing balcony, or draw the shades and bask in quiet privacy high up above the streets.

Full bathroom boasts twin vanity mirrors and sinks, a beautifully tiled shower, marble floors, and grand gold finishes.

When you aren’t relaxing and enjoying the views, you can explore the city like a local! The Panther Lounge is located in the heart of the city, blocks away from both scenic Bidwell park (with walking trails, swimming holes, and people-watching galore!) and downtown Chico.

With grocery stores, coffee shops, and plenty of spots to eat nearby, nearly everything you may need during your stay is easily accessible on foot or bike. If If you feel like venturing a bit farther, the B-Line bus runs all across town, with the nearest stop right by the Gordo Burrito taco truck - considered the best in town! Traffic in Chico is typically light, but parking downtown can fill up quickly. There are two metered lots and a covered garage, all with waived fares on the weekends!

Please note that the Panther Lounge is attached to the main home, and has a small occupied unit below it. We've taken precautionary measures by installing extra soundproofing, but ask that all guests be considerate of others and mindful of excess noise.
