Stylish Self-Contained Countryside Accommodation

Easter Lodge is a brand new countryside accommodation annexe nestled in the picturesque village of Funtington. This self-contained retreat features two bedrooms, both with king-size beds, a family bathroom with a walk-in shower, and an open-plan living space complete with a zen corner. The gorgeous kitchen is fully equipped for a perfect getaway. Enjoy safe, off-road parking for two cars, a private garden, and a separate entrance. With the local pub, farm shop, Hallidays Restaurant, and the stunning Kingley Vale all just a stone's throw away, this is an ideal countryside escape!
The Space:
Easter Lodge is stylish with traditional twists to give it a chic and cosy cottage vibe. The comfortable king-size beds will ensure a great night's sleep. The lounge has a gorgeous chilled feel to it, so you can put your feet up after a long walk up Kingley Vale. Watch whatever you like on the 50" Sky TV!
The 'zen' corner is the perfect spot to read a book with a morning coffee or cold drink in the evening. The fully-equipped kitchen is the perfect space to cook up some delicious food!
We supply tea and coffee (pods for the Nespresso machine) and sugar, so you'll be right at home straight away.
Guest Access:
Easter Lodge has a large private driveway to fit two cars.
Funtington is situated 5 miles west of the cathedral city of Chichester. There is a bus that goes three times a day from the bus stop across the road. However, if you are planning on visiting places a little further, such as West Wittering, Goodwood or Bosham you will need a car.
Taxis are available, however we would recommend booking them in advance. Kingley Vale Nature Reserve has some of the most beautiful walking routes and views in the area, and is walking distance from Easter Lodge.
The Neighborhood:
Funtington is a small, friendly and quiet countryside village situated in the beautiful South Downs, just 5 miles west of Chichester City Centre.
If you are into hiking, trail running, mountain biking, nature, then Easter Lodge is perfect for you! You will find miles and miles of beautiful scenery within Kingley Vale Nature Reserve, which is on your doorstep.
Getting Around:
The lodge is situated within walking distance of Kingley Vale Nature Reserve, which has many beautiful walking routes.
West Wittering's Blue Flag Beach is a 25 minute drive away, so you will need a car to get there. We would also recommend looking on the West Wittering website to see if you need to book your parking space.
The No. 54 bus goes directly to Chichester City Centre and the stop is a 30 second walk from Easter Lodge.
Goodwood is a 10 minute drive away, as it Chichester City Centre and Bosham Harbour.
Ashling Park is a brand new Vineyard just a 2 minute drive down the road, producing the most delicious Sparkling Wine, Still Wine and Gin. They offer Tours and Tasting and we would highly recommend visiting.

We are dog friendly and dogs will be charged at ÂŁ30 per stay. We will supply dog treats and a bowl, however, you will need to bring their food and bed/blankets/towels etc. If you are planning on bringing your dog/dogs please message me so I can send you the payment request.
