Coney Six - East Wittering - a family house that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Coney Six is a charming 1930's single storey cottage in East Wittering within moments walk of the sea front and a short level walk to the village centre.

The cottage is in the top corner of a quiet private estate just one road back from the waterfront. Arriving, there is plenty of parking for 3 cars on the spacious driveway. Entering the cottage through the main front door into the wide hallway there is a sunny, double aspect twin bedroom to the front with two comfortable single beds, the family bathroom is adjacent to this room. There is a cosy dining room with seating for four to the front of the cottage. Back into the hallway there is a modern fitted kitchen, the host has taken care to make sure everything is available for guests to comfortably self cater during their stay, including, cooker, induction hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and dishwasher.

Opposite the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier...a must for a beachside holiday.

Back in to the hallway towards the rear of the cottage is the sitting area looking onto the garden, there are lovely comfortable sofas and a TV. The master bedroom has a large double with ensuite, step free shower room.

The garden is a real feature of this property being a sunny southerly aspect and wrapping itself from the rear and around the side of the house. There is a patio area with seating for 4 people for you to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet with a glass of wine.

This really is the ideal escape from everything.

East Wittering is famous for its stunningly beautiful landscape and lovely, which attract visitors from all over the U.K. and beyond. It is a favourite destination for windsurfers, but equally families love to "get away from it all". The village itself has some lovely independent shops and cafes. The beautiful cathedral city of Chichester lies just to the north and is famous for its Roman connections, as well as the Festival Theatre, which attracts some of the world's top actors. It is dominated by the cathedral and its shopping centre has preserved its heritage and character. There is a huge amount to do in the area, from water sports to sight seeing, golf courses, tourist attractions, to horseracing and motor sports at Goodwood. Alternatively, one can just "chill out" and relax in one of the U.K.'s best locations.

We enjoyed our stay at Coney 6 very much.It had everything we needed and was verycomfortable and well furnished. We had hot sunny weather and were able to enjoy the lovely garden. Parking was also a bonus and its close proximity to the sea. Communication with Heather was excellent.We would certainly return to Coney 6.Thankyou.

Lovely seaside location

We had a fantastic week's holiday at the end of August and really lokked the house and the location. Feels like a home from home ..the only small suggestion i would make is that bedroom curtains could be darker ones as the light really is blinding ...very relaxing and i would stay again .

A lovely property in a fantastic location

The property was spotlessly clean and had all the necessities for our two week stay. The location was perfect, on a quiet private estate, a five minute walk to the beach, and a fifteen minute leisurely stroll to East Wittering itself. The location was ideal for visiting all of the attractions which West Sussex has to offer.

We had a great stay here. East Wittering beach was about a 2/3 minute walk, and a beautiful walk along the sea to East Wittering high street. We had great weather so spent most of our time at West Wittering beach, a very short car trip away. The house had everything we needed including a lovely spacious garden and cosy living room with a smart TV.

Lovely bungalow right near the beach

We loved our stay in East Wittering. Initially we felt the bungalow lacked kerb appeal (garage door needs some TLC) and a few trees would brighten the driveway up but once inside we loved it! It was spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a fantastic break (except an iron lol) but I managed!!! The icing on the cake was the lovely beach and village - both a short walk away. Make sure you go to the beach at West Wittering too - it was beautiful!!!

A lovely property in a really quiet, convenient location

We found the bungalow to be really clean and well equipped. It was so nice to have a decent sized, quiet garden to relax in on the days that we decided to just chill out. Lovely comfortable furniture in the large lounge. It is just a short walk into the village of East Wittering where there is a really good variety of shops and places to eat. The beach is literally a five minute stroll away, lovely. Overall we had a lovely break in a very comfortable property.

It was that very hot week at the beginning of August. Thank goodness there was a nice garden and a little shade when we most needed it.The facilities in the house were excellent. The walk along the beach to East Wittering village was quick and easy, and lovely villages such as Ichinor, Birdham and Bosham were not far away.

A enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found it well equipped and in a good location. The twin bedroom is ok for adults, but is really more suitable for children. Our main concern is that there are no visitors allowed for any amount of time. This is not mentioned in the description/information when you book and you are only informed about it when you receive details after paying the balance. This did not affect us as we didn't want to invite others for lunch etc during this visit. However on previous breaks we have seen friends who lived nearby. Roads leading to the estate are in a shockingly poor state although this is not their fault.

Comfortable, great location

Lovely cottage, which has everything you could need. It has a really nice atmosphere when you come through the front door. It is spacious, light and has a comfortable sitting room and separate dining area. The cottage is in a very peaceful location – we were struck how quiet it was – and it has a lovely back garden. There is plenty of space for parking and it is only moments from the beach (about a five-minute walk). It's about a ten-minute walk by the sea to East Wittering and the nice fish hut! And perhaps 10-15 minutes in the other direction to Billy's on the Beach (nice cafĂ©/restaurant). There were three of us and we had plenty of space in the cottage. We had to stay in more than we normally would because we caught the tail-end of a hurricane but it was so comfortable we didn't mind!

Lovely Bungalow in a Great Location

We (wife, self and adult daughter) thoroughly enjoyed our week in Coney Six. The property was beautifully clean, light and well equipped. We loved having two bathrooms, being able to step directly from the large lounge into the peaceful garden, the quiet cul-de-sac, being only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, plus all the eating places and shops of East Wittering (some wonderfully quirky). We were blessed with glorious weather, which added to the enjoyment. We would love to stay here again and would recommend the property without hesitation. Any negatives? There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues which we could easily live with, but which I should let the owner/property managers know about, because I am sure they will want to knock them on the head. The agent also sent us the information sheet for a different property but it didn't matter, because there was a file of all the correct info in the entrance hall.
