Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at Don’s place. The home was very clean and accommodated three couples very nicely. The neighborhood is very quaint and quiet. We loved taking morning walks. Don was quick to respond to us with any questions we had. We were in town for two Cubs game. Wrigley Field is a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. We would absolutely stay at Don’s place again!

Great property in terrific Wrigleyville location

I was traveling with a friend group, and we had a wonderful 4-night stay. The property is a flat on the first level of a multi-family house. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of towels and linens, and there was laundry and backyard access. The location is incredible, about a 10-minute walk to Wrigley Field. In about 15-20 minutes you can walk to commercial districts in Lakeview, Northalsted, and Belmont Ave. There’s an L stop a few blocks away as well. The owner was super to deal with and very responsive to questions. If you bring a car he will provide passes for street parking. There are lots of Ubers in the area as well, I don’t think we ever waited more than 5 minutes. Staying here was a big part of a terrific Chicago adventure.

Family vacation

The listing info and prior reviews are accurate. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Street parking was easy (the Cubs are not in the postseason 🙁), there is a wonderful playground a 10min walk away on School St, besides all the good eateries and shops on Southport and near Wrigley field. Don graciously adjusted the temperature setting remotely and quickly responded to our few questions. Thank you!

Perfect Spot

This was the perfect place for our short getaway to the city. It was close to Wrigley and other restaurants/bars that were all walking distance. The house does have neighbors above and next to, so we did feel like we needed to be extra conscientious of our volume. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Great communication with host

Don was easy to get in touch with and kind enough to help with a couple of requests. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family (all adults in our group). We loved the living/dining room area, as it allowed us to be together without feeling cramped. The neighborhood is great and perfectly located for walking to lots of shops and restaurants.

We had a great time at our recent stay in Chicago. The apartment has everything you need and the owner is very helpful. The walk to Wrigley Field is super quick and a short walk to shops/food and the train station. We will definitely be staying there again.

Great Stay!

The apartment's common rooms were spacious and comfortable for our group of four adults and a baby. The bedrooms were small as was the second bathroom. Don was responsive when we checked in and needed our parking passes. The garden is lovely and the location was perfect for us.

Review

A description of the property said that it included parking however, I didn’t say that the parking was on the street. Parking in the area is pretty tight and having to worry about whether I was going to get a parking spot after coming home at night after dinner was a royal pain. The condo itself was fine, except for the toilets. I haven’t used a toilet that small in over 40 years. Perhaps it’s time to install new toilets.

Cute, Quaint and Perfect

What a wonderful week in Chicago! We loved everything about the house. Kitchen was well stocked, abundant towels and essentials and plenty of room to enjoy quiet time with a good book. I loved the back room looking over the back yard and my grandchildren loved playing back there. No problems with wifi and my daughter was able to work on her graduate studies while we were there. It was a great retreat after long days sightseeing, walking and touring the city. We truly enjoyed it and will plan on coming again.

Perfect location!

This house was located in the absolute BEST area. Quiet neighborhood and 2 blks from some fun shopping and really tasty restaurants. It’s also only about a 20 min drive DT (Chicago traffic, ya know). Its a lot bigger than we thought it was. Plenty of space in the living spaces. Highly recommend this property for your next trip to Chicago. Can’t wait to go back and book again
