Welcome to Hermosa House, an Eco-Home with 100% solar energy! This bright, spacious first-floor apartment features a recently-remodeled kitchen & bath, 4 beds with cloud-like mattresses, and a delightful deck+backyard w/fire pit, garden, grill, and lots of outdoor seating. Close to everything in the lovely Hermosa neighborhood, a stone's throw from Logan Square, and 2 blocks from the Metra station & other public transport. We provide parking passes for our street for extra convenience too! Quiet hours from 10pm-6am.

The space
Welcome to your perfect retreat in the heart of Chicago's charming Hermosa neighborhood. This beautifully appointed apartment offers you full and exclusive access, including a newly remodeled kitchen, four beds with cloud-like mattresses, and a modern bathroom featuring a bidet and bubble bath accessories. Relax on the delightful deck and enjoy the backyard fire pit. Whether you're here for a quick visit or a longer stay, this haven promises to be your home away from home. Come and experience the best of Chicago with us!

In addition, the outdoor amenities include a gas grill, a garden with fresh herbs you are welcome to use, and a fully fenced front and back yard for added privacy. Enjoy the covered patio and elevated deck, complete with an umbrella and comfortable outdoor seating, perfect for relaxing or having an intimate backyard gathering with your group.

For those who love to explore, there are walking trails and parks nearby. The apartment is just a few short blocks from the Metra station, which offers e-scooter rentals for your convenience. Buses are available at the end of our street, and we provide free parking passes for our street to ensure a hassle-free stay.

Guest access
You'll have full access to all areas of the apartment, except a storage closet we have a lock on. You're welcome to use the full backyard, including the deck off your kitchen, the patio off the garage, the firepit, and all seating/amenities out there. Also, fell free to help yourself to some mint from the garden :)

We're proud to say that our electricity is 100% renewable solar, so you can feel good about your carbon footprint when staying at our Airbnb!

Parking:
With the provided parking passes, you'll be able to park right in front or along our block for free. All of our guests so far have reported being able to park within the block with no problem!

Pleasant stay, dog and family friendly

The host provides lots of amenities that make this a kid and dog friendly place to stay. The neighborhood has lots of walkable restaurants. The expectations for cleaning up when we left were a bit much considering the high cleaning fee we paid- we had to take out the trash and strip the sheets and pillowcases off all the beds and gather them in the hamper- but I would stay here again.

Great Stay in a Quiet Neighborhood

The house was perfect for our family of six. We had plenty of room to relax & rest after exploring the city. There’s a Metra station nearby for access to the city if you don’t want to drive and fight Chicago traffic. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We enjoyed the little touches like a welcome basket & a cooler and umbrella to use when we went to the beach. The hosts were quick to respond to the only question I had during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago.

BEST Chicago rental experience ever!!

We had a PERFECT stay at this delightful apartment. It was spotless, comfortable and convenient with free parking all around. The neighborhood felt super safe at all hours, and it was fun to be close to Logan Square’s hip bars/restaurants but still in a quiet residential area. Easiest self check-in ever via smart lock w/our own easy code. The mattresses felt like literal clouds, and the living room with fireplace was perfect for relaxing. The bathroom had everything you could possibly need/forget like toothbrushes, shaving cream, face wash—I wish every host was so thoughtful. We loved the big bright kitchen with new oversized fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, and 4 different kinds of coffee makers! The hosts were warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed, and replying to every message promptly and helpfully. We loved hanging out on the back deck under the lighted patio umbrella and making a campfire in their beautiful fire pit, which is a rare treat while staying in a big city. P.S. Our group is big into coffee and boy did they have us covered with a Keurig that also does coffee shots and milk frothing to make lattes and cappuccinos, plus a large french press, a chemex/pour over glass coffee maker, and so much more!!

What an adorable place to stay!

I I just had a wonderful stay at the Hermosa house! Hannah and Michael have made such a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The house was impeccable! The beds comfy and the top of the line bedding was heavenly! They have a state of the arts kitchen and had every single thing I could imagine for a relaxing morning. They provided tips for great places around town. We spent the evening curled on their couch, with the fireplace on watching premium tv. I will definitely stay here again; only the next time I think I'll extend my stay! It is a delightful, relaxing get away!!

Amazing Home Away From Home!

We had Such an amazing time with our stay here! There's so much I could say about this home! The Cleanliness of it is Unmatched even to a hotel room you could book. The Friendliness, Efficiency, Hospitality, and Willingness to Help from Hannah and Michael made it Exceptionally easy to feel Truly at ease during our stay! The Location is Perfect! I've never been to Chicago, and for newcomers, it's Really overwhelming to be in the city. What makes this location so Amazing is not only is it in a clean and safe part of the city, but it's away from the stress of the city too. The house sits on this Adorable little neighborhood that's got these iron wrought gates and trees lining the streets; it's something to see for the first time! We'd actually booked the home for three nights, and on our middle day, we decided to just stay at home and relax. This home was Perfect for that! The house itself is impeccably decorated with So Many interesting things to see (including a Wonderful selection of books!) The home is quiet with climate controlled rooms, there's a fire pit in the backyard, and you have So Many options from food delivery services that we actually struggled to choose just three that day. There are three complete bedrooms, in which one of them is a bunkbed kids room. There's a complete dining room, and a separate table in the kitchen. If I ever find myself in Chicago again, I won't be going to a hotel - I'll absolutely be looking for This rental exactly!

Cozy home

Hannah was a very responsive and amazing host. She check on us throughout our stay and even help with a simple task of starting the outdoor grill. The home is cozy and inviting.
