We had a mixed experience with this property. We arrived after the designated check-in time and found that the unit had not been cleaned from the previous guests. There were soiled linens on the floor, the beds had been slept in, etc. We contacted the property manager and they were responsive. A cleaning crew arrived about 45 minutes later. They required two hours to clean the unit. The check-in time of 4pm turned into around 8:30pm. The property description mentions that the property is by a train station and you "may hear the train traffic." The trains are very noisy and operate overnight. If you are not accustomed to the noise, you will definitely hear the trains at all hours of the day and night. The bathtub would fill with water when taking a shower. We did contact the property manager to report this and someone was sent to check the plumbing. The issue was not fixed during our stay. The thermostat did not work, as turning it to as high as 80 degrees did not result in any heat. Again, we contacted the property manager and they asked for a picture of the thermostat. Maintenance was sent to the unit but the thermostat was not fixed. Two space heaters were dropped outside the building, but they were left after 10-11pm and we did not get them until the next morning.I requested a refund of the 99 cleaning fee due to the troubles with the unit. It has been 3 weeks and the communications seem to have stopped, so it seems my request is no longer being considered.
