The grass on the property was so overgrown that there was a citation on the door from the community. The shower in the main bathroom constantly leaked water. There was someone else's food leftover in the fridge. Only comfortable place to sit in the living room was a small couch that fit three people. If it was advertised that more than three people could stay there, there should be more furniture in the main living area. That being said, the bedrooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Host was nice.

My family had a wonderful stay. This house is in a quiet neighborhood but was the perfect distance to take day trips into downtown Chicago. The house was very clean and had absolutely everything stocked that you could need. My daughters enjoyed the hot tub. Having a kitchen with everyrhing you could need to cook and a laundry room with washer and dryer made this so much better than a hotel. We stayed during a spring break trip but would absolutely come again during the summer months.

Picked this house for the hot tub, however was not able to use it because the winds kept blowing the top off, leaving the water too chilly to sit in. House was clean and plenty big enough for the two of us.

I must not have paid attention to the listing. I was pleasantly surprised with as much space there was in this house. The neighborhood is quiet (except for my barking dogs). Everything you could think of was thought of....including a welcome note with chocolates. My daughter-in-law is graduating from Columbia College in May and I definitely want to stay here again. Thank you, Maggie. Everything was wonderful!

It was the perfect family friendly house. From the game room to the hot tub and fire pit my boys loved every minute of it. Very clean and well stocked for almost everything you need. Great location with the airport and restaurants. And best part it was away from the busy downtown but its just a short drive there. Will be staying again

Melrose Park Stay

Great spot for a quick Chicago trip for me and my wife and dog. House was as advertised, well appointed. Nice quiet neighborhood and fenced in back yard was great for the dog. Would stay again.

Good value

We stayed for a long weekend to Chicago for a college visit. The home is comfortable, spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were responsive and check in and out were easy.Minor gripes, like having to buy batteries for the TV remote or the fact that there's no central air conditioning (which I've come to learn is not uncommon in older Midwestern homes) were minor inconvenience (the window units worked fine). All in all, it was a great value and we would stay again.

Great and convenient little property.

Good house with 3 bedrooms. 1.5 bathrooms. The hot tub is a nice touch. Just your average house, nothing extravagant. Had towels and all. Netflix etc. was overall a pleasant stay.
