Holymoorside itself is a peaceful village with two great local pubs. For nature lovers, the surrounding area is a walker’s paradise. There is easy access to a network of local footpaths and hiking trails, offering stunning views of the countryside. Embark on the Monsal Head, Tissington, or High Peak Trail, or head to Edale and Castleton for more challenging hikes.

Nearby, the Chatsworth Estate offers scenic walks, Chatsworth House itself is a must-see. A short drive will take you to Bakewell, famous for its charming streets and the iconic Bakewell pudding. Matlock and Matlock Bath are also nearby, providing a mix of beautiful scenery and family-friendly attractions, including the Heights of Abraham cable cars and the Gulliver’s Kingdom theme park.
