Deluxe Wood Fired Hot Tub in our Cheshire Getaway

Pilgrim Cottage is surrounded by rolling countryside and a short distance from the peaceful and quant village centre of Tarvin.

Our holiday home has kept some of the stunning and original period details such as the brick fireplace and ceiling beams. The cosy living space with wood burning stove provides the perfect place to socialise after a day of exploring, whilst the private wood-fired hot tub offers a relaxing and romantic escape under the stars.

You can check yourself in at your own convenience and will be provided with our contact details prior to check-in should you need us in an emergency.

The nearest village is the quaint town of Tarvin, which is just 5 minutes away in the car and brimming with historical pubs, fabulous eateries, and high-end boutiques. The neighbouring town, Tarporley is 10 minutes away and well worth a visit. The historic buildings are dressed in bunting and the warm and friendly atmosphere radiates through the streets.

If you are looking to venture further afield, take a drive of around 20 minutes and join the Sandstone Trail, which stretches for 34 miles from the market town of Frodsham to Whitchurch in Shropshire in its entirety. The trail follows Cheshire’s Sandstone Ridge and offers spectacular views of the countryside.

Parking is available at the front of the cottage or on the street. Please be mindful of other cars and neighbours driveways.

It is best to travel by car but local taxi firms will be noted in our welcome booklet.

Pilgrim Cottage is within 7.5 miles of Chester Racecourse and 7.5 miles of Chester Zoo.
Boasting free private parking, the holiday home is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and cycling.

M&S Bank Arena Liverpool is 24.2 miles from Pilgrim Cottage, while ACC Liverpool is 24.9 miles from the property.

The nearest airport is Liverpool John Lennon Airport, 24.9 miles from the accommodation.

We have a septic tank therefore it is strictly forbidden to flush sanitary products and wet wipes (including the flushable ones).

Please note the water is drained and refilled between each guests therefore on first arrival the hot tub can take up to 4 hours to heat fully depending on the air temp outside. Once up to desired temperature subsequent uses will only require top up of heat.

Please note - a starter pack for the hot tub wood burning stove is provided. Further logs can be purchased locally and we are more than happy to provide a list of shops.
We have a septic tank, please DO NOT put sanitary products, wet wipes or anything other than the toilet paper provided, down the toilet.
It blocks the system and WILL result in a charge that you will be liable for.
Please use the bin provided!

Hot tub is only allowed to be used between 8am - 10pm to respect our neighbours.

No loud music is permitted at any time.

(Sorry!) No glitter allowed anywhere on the property.

Do not set the thermostat to anything higher than 22°, this is unachievable and causes the boiler to overheat. Please contact me if you feel the need to, and I can advise.

Check in and check out times are set to 4pm - 10am (unless previously agreed) to allow cleaning and any maintenance to be carried out prior to your arrival. Unauthorised late check-outs will incur a charge of £20.
