Welcome to The Lodge at Cashes Valley - your luxury retreat in Cherry Log, GA! The Lodge is a three bedroom home offering stunning sunsets and room for everyone to spread out and relax. When you come to The Lodge, you are renting the whole home and are not sharing any spaces!

The location offers amazing sunsets and the valley can fill with mist when it rains or clouds when the weather rolls in! Located above the Fighting Town Creek, you can hear the tumbling waters from the deck! There is more than 1,200+ square feet of decks making for excellent outdoor living space and a maximum of 6 guests! Enjoy the premium hot tub's legendary massage jets under the stars!
There is an outdoor covered pavilion with a fireplace, a swinging chair for two and six rocking chairs! Enjoy your fire year round, rain or shine on the pavilion! There is also a fire pit with four chairs and bench seating along the stone wall. There is a Generac whole house generator to keep the lights on during the power outages that are common in the mountains!

Entering the home you are greeted by the open kitchen, living room and dining area. The well stocked kitchen offers granite counter tops and stainless appliances, as well as kitchen appliances including a griddle, crockpot, blender, food processor and more! There is a Weber gas grill and an Ooni Pizza Oven just off the kitchen on the outdoor deck. Enjoy fresh, hot pizza as you take in the sunset!

Off of the Kitchen is the first floor bedroom, with a queen size bed and a sliding glass door out to the deck and hot tub area. There is a full bath and laundry room off of the kitchen for this bedroom with a full/household size washer and dryer. Off of the bedroom is a Media Room, offering a 65" TV, four electric recliners, a record player and a few records to enjoy ... bring your favorite records to enjoy! There are numerous board and card games, as well as Connect Four, Jenga, and a guitar to enjoy as well (please note that we are hoping the guitar will be gently used and cared for by guests and is not checked/or maintained (tuned) by the owner). There is also a wine barrel arcade game table featuring the games of yesterday - Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Space Invaders and many more!

The upstairs suite is open to the family room and offers a king size bed with a sliding glass door out to a covered porch and the best view in the house! There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower and a desk to work at. Enjoy elevated views from the covered deck off of this bedroom!

The main suite is on the first floor (no stairs) off the kitchen hallway that offers stunning views, an open concept shower, double vanity and commode room. There is a split King size mattress, chairs to lounge in and a view to take in! The main suite has its own deck with French doors to take in the mountain views. It is an ideal place for enjoying your coffee or sunning. The fire pit is off this side of the home as well.

On the decks off of the main living area, you will find the hot tub, live edge bar top for four, a dining table for six, a professional grade dartboard and the pavilion with the fireplace. Take in the the breathtaking views of the Cohutta Wilderness Management Area and the sounds of Fighting Town Creek.

The home can accommodate up to six guests; please make your booking with your total guest count for your stay. If after booking you decide to add guests to your party, please change your reservation to reflect the correct amount of guests; the additional guest fee will be applied for all nights of your reservation.

House Rules can be found under 'Other details to note'. A House Guide will be emailed to you 24 hours before check in. Guests agree to read house rules prior to booking.

For your convenience we are providing sample starter items, Kurig coffee pods and coffee filters for the automatic drip coffee maker, shampoo/conditioner, liquid body wash, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, washing machine liquid, and dishwashing liquid. Clean linens - 4 towels (Body, hand, hand) per person will be left out for use. Fully equipped kitchen for preparing and serving meals We suggest Guest(s) bring personal grooming items, grocery items, specialty items and any unique or important items vital to your vacation.

Pet friendly for up to two pets with a $85 pet fee; please make sure to pay the pet fee when booking. Please bring a crate for your fur baby if you plan to leave them in the cabin unattended. There is no fenced in area, so you will need to leash and walk your dog.

The TV's are all smart TV's where you can sign in to your favorite streaming services. No local cable is provided

There is parking for 2/3 cars in the main driveway and there is an additional parking space off of Mountain View Drive.

Getting there - 4WD is not required to get to the cabin, with the exception of ice and snow. From Blue Ridge, Cashes Valley Road is paved to Hickory Nut Trail. From Ellijay, Bushy Head Road is a combination of gentle gravel and paved roads. From Hickory Nut Trail, there is a combination of paved inclines and gravel roads to get to the cabin.

Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the driveway shed and basement areas.

Our goal is to make your trip as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Every effort is made to maintain the integrity of the home, its' systems, pest control practices, appliances, hot tub, generator, etc. Occasionally, things can go wrong and we will make every effort to fix/maintain/or replace to maintain/and-or restore the systems, and provide you with a five star guest experience. In the event there is an issue associated with your stay, such as a mechanical failure outside of the hosts control, that you agree not to leave a negative review for this reason as the host has made every effort to perform both regular and preventative maintenance. Let us know how we can improve your stay so we can try to accommodate.
