Secluded private location yet only minutes from downtown Bryson City, Deep Creek National Park, Cherokee Casino and Smoky Mountain National Park. Renovated top to bottom July 2021. Listen to the creek from porch swings as you drink your morning coffee. Drive a mile to a local winery or to Deep Creek for hiking, tubing and waterfalls. 1.7 miles to new Dollar General. 5 miles to downtown for the famous train ride shopping and restaurants. 8 miles to Cherokee casino, horseback riding and Santa's land theme park! Visit Lake Fontana 30min or the Nantahala Gorge also under 20 mins. Location is everything!

3 beds/2.5 baths upstairs (main house) with 1 bed/1 bath + game room downstairs (basement). Large flat screen tv with Dish network cable in living room with new super comfortable leather electric recliners and a basket full of fuzzy blankets to relax by the fire place or catch a movie on a rainy day. DVD players in rooms throughout the lodge with flat screen tvs and tons of DVD's. Each bedroom has brand new comfy high end hybrid beds and quality new pillows with protective covers. Sheets are soft, welcoming and also new!

Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, dishes silverware, glasses, toaster, blender, Keurig, air fryer, microwave, crock pot, full size stove, dishwasher & fridge. We also stock dry spices, salt, pepper oil etc. We supply paper products.

Basement is separate from main house with it's entrance on first level; could be good for teenagers or separate family. There is a pocket door to separate the game room from the bedroom in the basement.

Basement offers a full bathroom, king bed and kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker, small fridge and plates, cups bowls etc.) We provide games, cards, puzzles, minature arcades and a retro gaming system plus DVD players and DVDs. Large flat screen in basement is visible from bedroom in basement. The retro gaming system comes with hundreds of games. It's a lot of fun. These are throwbacks that do not require signal or internet so even on a rainy day there is plenty of entertainment or enjoy the multi game table set up for foosball but it also has many other game options the kids can play. Look out! Real darts and dart board downstairs! If you want to let the kids go crazy while playing you can enjoy the peace and quiet outside on the double porch rocker right in front of basement room.

Outdoor activities available to you are cornhole, trail ring toss, 6 swings and 3 rockers plus a 6 person hot tub with deck sanitized after every guest. Pool table, large Jenga set, jumbo pong and table shuffle board with picnic table on large covered deck!

Make s'mores by the campfire or cook steaks on the authentic cowboy grill. Firewood is stored in the small woodshed nearby.

Full size laundry available in basement.

4x4 NOT required to access property. 95% of the drive is all paved roads. A short city maintained gravel road (couple hundred feet is all) is required before continuing on our paved road. As with any drive in the mountains there's curves and limited visibility at night. No light pollution! Take your time and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask! We can safely fit 3-4 vehicles and have had many guests with motorcycles and even jetski and boat trailers.

House trained Dogs allowed with pet fee. Pet bowls and cage available if needed. Please bring their own bedding. We have doggie waste bags available in the storage closet under the stairs.

Private location with no other cabins on the property.

Cell service is available you may need to find the best position in the house to get a good signal. ( Metal roof/ mountains) Driveway front porch or fire pit area for some. Free WiFi thru Starlink.

Even though we have the best internet possible in our area through Starlink satellite , it is not like city service.

TV's are NOT the best for streaming; it might work but may buffer or drop at times.... thus why we supply a small blockbuster amount of DVDs for your enjoyment! 😁

Peruse the hundreds of DVDs located in the living room and a few hundred more in the basement. The largest TV is the main TV in the living room and it has dish cable satellite for your television entertainment. Common in the mountains are days with wind and rain that may limit satellite TV and internet service we highly recommend you enjoy the great outdoors and see some of the amazing nearby sights.
