Church View Apartment is a stylish Cotswold holiday home located in the vibrant market town of Stow-on-the-Wold which sleeps four guests (no children aged nine or under permitted except for one baby not yet walking), in two well-appointed bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. Laid out over two floors, the apartment perfectly blends traditional features with contemporary decor and boasts a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room which opens onto a tranquil roof terrace with outdoor seating and cosy firepit, ideal for a morning coffee.

This two bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Ground Floor
The front door opens into the entrance hall, from which stairs lead into the spacious living room

First Floor

Sitting room
A bright and sunny aspect room, with exposed wooden beams and wooden floors. Amenities include a three-seater sofa, arm chair, Smart TV and a small selection of books

Kitchen/dining room
Providing direct access to the tranquil roof terrace, the well-equipped kitchen contains an electric induction oven with electric ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing/dryer and a glass dining table with seating for four

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to heath and safety only 1 baby not yet walking is allowed
Regrettably, children under the age of 10 are not permitted, excluding 1 babe in arms. This is due to the apartment having been designed very much with adults in mind

Free on street parking is readily available a short walk away from the property
Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

This property is situated above a commercial property PFPWealth, just off Stow Square. It is accessed via steep stairs and is therefore not suitable for those with difficulties climbing stairs

The smoke detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Excellent accommodation right in the heart of Stow

Myself & my wife stayed at Church View for 2 nights with our daughter & fiancé and our dog. The apartment is wonderful. Clean and more than spacious enough for the four of us. The terrace is a lovely bonus and we were fortunate with the weather to enjoy an alfresco lunch during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was filled with light from the skylight. Hard to find any faults but despite an array of kitchen utensils there is no can opener which caused a minor issue but other than that we were delighted with our stay.

The Church Bells !

My husband and I did enjoy our trip to the Cotswolds. However the comfort in Church view very disappointing. The mattress on the beds very poor . Would suggest take your own pillows. The church bells ring all through the night , we were able to use the bedroom at the back if need the front room take ear plugs. A good nights sleep is so important to me so for us we would not return.

Great apartment to stay in to explore Cotswolds. Kitchen was fab and we loved the view of the church. It was quiet and we had good sleep . No plug in the kitchen sink , must have been lost ?

It was the perfect home base for exploring the Cotswolds. The place was across the square from a bunch of great restaurants and shops and a grocery store. It’s was super cute and a perfect place to rest after a day of touring around.

Cotswolds Retreat

What a wonderful, peaceful, and safe stay my husband, daughter, and I had. The apartment was perfect with special touches throughout: biscuits on counter, milk in fridge, toiletries wrapped up in bathroom. There was much to do in town and the restaurants were wonderful and accommodating. I only wished we could have stayed longer!!

Lovely apartment in a great location in the centre of stow. We were 4 adults and it was slightly on the small side for 4 adults (could do with an extra chair in the lounge area) but had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, lovely garden terrace.

Great apartment in the centre of Stow on the wold

Great Location right in the centre of Stow on the Wold just perfect for touring The Cotswolds.Apartment was cleaning and had everything needed for our week stay also in walking distant to lots of local Pubs which all served meals. On street parking which was nearby although 2 hour limited between 9am-6pm this never cause us a problem. Some people have commented on the Church Bells ring on the hour through the night, this never caused us any issues Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful short break and the apartments location was absolutely perfect. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed to make the most of our time. Really special staying so central and to be able to see the church in the evenings and pop out for food. We will definately stay again! X

This was a lovely apartment right on the square! We also really appreciated the recommendations in the binder. We tried the wine cellar and the old butcher! Both were excellent! I was worried about parking but lots of places to park!

Fantastic Stay

Stayed for 2 nights September 2022 - what can I say? Super clean and super comfy. Excellent location. Well maintained.Would highly recommend this apartment. The Church bells are not a problem at all !! Lovely walks in the area and quaint shops.

Review of accommodation

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was well situated, very clean and cosy. Unfortunately the bed was small and not very comfortable so by the 3rd night my back was very sore. A better mattress would really make a big difference.

Weekend Away

We had a lovely girls weekend in the Cotswolds. Location of the apartment was wonderful, easy check in, lovely decor. The cleaning could definitely have been better, there was a bag of rubbish left by the previous tenants on the terrace and some stains on the towels provided. Otherwise would happily stay again

A cosy apartment - best for only a couple perhaps. No problems parking in the square. Excellent kitchen, good storage space and size of sitting room. Liked the roof terrace . Lighting could be better and maybe the bathroom could do with a bit of updating..

Girls weekend

The apartment was lovely, well appointed, great location. More mirrors are needed in the bedrooms The sofa is extremely low and uncomfortable The location of the key safe hanging behind very full and smelly bins was both difficult to access and unpleasant. It would have been easy to drop the keys behind the bins.
